You do a lot of speech to text on ur phone, Hawk? Yeah, sometimes it can work well, sometimes needs a lot of correction, especially if youre faded and slurring ur words. I switched the default samsung keyboard to the google one, I like it better and use the google voice to text as well.
I saw the georgia case about the guy smuggling stuff into the jail, it happened earlier this year and the guy was on the outside and able to bring stuff into the jail through a broken window? Kind of wild, hope he was paid well cause now he’s going to suffer the consequences. Most of the stuff smuggled into jails and prisons comes from the CO’s though.
I heard about that gwyneth paltrow lawsuit, she actually won that case, got $1 and attorney’s fees. I guess she proved to the jury that the guy ran into her on the ski slope, not the other way around. Not sure what the plaintiff was thinking filing that case if that’s what really happened.
As far as nfl news, austin ekeler of the chargers reworked his deal, he was on the last year of a 4yr 24M deal but he’s led the league in TDs the last 2 seasons so at 6M/yr was underpaid, he’s going to make 8M this year on his new deal. Nice little 33% bump in pay for him, he’s not a tough inside runner but catching passes and outside runs he’s a real weapon.
Also this year the nfl will allow Thursday night games to be flexed, the last 5 wks of the season they can swap Sunday afternoon games with Thursday night games with a month’s notice. Im guessing they would do it to make sure you don’t have terrible matchups for a primetime game, like bears vs commanders on TNF last year.

i liked the rotating hosts and esp loved the milfs!!

Yeah, having better quality Thursday night games would be fun, but for the people who have tickets it’s a pain to change their travel plans even with 28 days notice. Ah well, they might only flex one TNF game a season, on average. They've been flexing Sunday night football games for 10 years and on avg it's less than 2 games a season.

Paula abdul was a laker girl (LA lakers cheerleader), then she became a pop star, later on was a host with America’s Got Talent with simon cowell where she seemed to be drunk/drugged half the time.
Voice to text is pretty convenient when it’s something that would be too long to write out, or maybe when ur driving (not recommended) but I do find that I have to go back and make corrections in the text so that removes some of the time savings you get. It helps if you know what ur going to say for the most part and speak clearly and concisely.
Jim carrey was over the top but he’s been like that in all of his movies, damon wayans was funny too. Now the wayans’ kids are making movies now, if that’s not enough to make u feel old…
They said the jail smuggling was through a broken window so im guessing it was steel bars with glass over it and the glass was broken so it was easy to slip stuff through the bars. If it was some kind of solid steel plate with holes in it instead of bars then yeah maybe you cant fit much through that.
The lady in the first ace ventura was sean young, she was in blade runner too, she was a baddie in her day for sure. Think she had some emotional issues afterwards and also was an alcoholic, she did the Celebrity Rehab with Dr Drew. Never really watched that show but they had some well known stars on it. Maybe at her peak she could have drank both of you guys under the table, or nah?

I enjoyed carrey’s early career, like Hawk said ace ventura and his other movies were pretty entertaining, but like most hollywood stars after the first 10yrs of their career they start making a lot of crap.
Carrey might suffer from manic depression, his ex-wives said he’d go into bouts of depression, he admitted to being on prozac but not liking it because it just took the edge off his depression not really ‘cured’ it, and like u guys mentioned he gets so manic when acting you have to think he flips between depressed and mania.
At 83 tina lived a long life but yeah seems like she had a lot of health problems at the end (stroke, high blood pressure, cancer etc). She mentioned that the whole ike turner abuse thing is just a recurring source of pain to her, it’s what a lot of people remember her for but having to keep reliving it in interviews and interactions with fans was just like re-opening old wounds for her. Hopefully she’s at peace now.
