anyone see the pictures of the accused shooters in 'bama? young black guys like the one the 84 year old shot through his locked door because the kid "frightened" him by his appearance. Ralph Yarl, about 5' 9", 145 lbs, scrawny Black kid. yeah, intimidating as hell... it IS sad, terribly so, that so many people today still put no/low value on others lives...humans killed each other with pointy sticks and rocks before, and probably will again.

A public amped up on reports of crime from media that makes money on ads that increase in profitability based on viewer numbers, even in areas where the crime rate is actually falling, in a Country where racism and nationalism have been made more acceptable once again, all the while denying racism, per se', exists in many cases, where unnecessarily frightened cowards with no significant training re. proper self-defense protocols hide in their homes waiting for the opportunity to prove they're Rambo re-cloned, and... what could possibly go wrong?

I know. My English teachers often chided me for run-on sentences, but through other proper punctuation, I often made them technically legal in structure. Pissed them off to no end. Had to mind-wrestle for corrections to grades sometimes, but... I'm Irish and determined.

I was actually just looking for the "What Are You Eating" threads, and got lost somehow. Good thing I didn't pull into someone's really touchy thread by mistake.

It's a homemade quiche, by the way, with our infamous 'Aunt Irene's pie crust', uncured hickory-smoked maple sugar bacon, Swiss cheese, organic broccoli, sweet onion, organic pan-wilted baby spinach, organic mushrooms, and free-range brown eggs with bright orange yolks. Incredible stuff.

And no one got killed, though the cholesterol levels might've taken a hit.
