Oaxaca 79/A5 is the best cross I've had with A5 by far.

shes an aneuploid... View attachment 18812541

in this case its a positive trait especially for terpene
production. sam and mac call em predator haze. this particular mutation usually linked to increased phyto hormone production resulting in a big secondary metabolite jump. for example here is an orissa faciated aneuploid with sky high ocimene

Sam does call it fasciation. Not predator.
He said he had rarely seen it reported before my fascitated Seedsman OH mother in 2015.
And that his Original Haze mother "he liked a lot and used for seed production," was fasciated too and that it had often fasciation in progeny.

Thanks for the heads up mate, it’s just one branch so might as well let it go.

Sam did like the fasciated pheno the most after smoking THH, Gollis and my OH lines when MadMac was there. He even recommended to use it in breeding. At least what got reported to us.

I would cut off that branch @Fronk . The rest should grow normally. I believe that's what Sam does recommend too.

@Piffcat fasciation & variegation on one NL HazeMints plant
Only increased branching and yield in this case.

Are interesting to compare to the NH x THH in the other thread.

The OG Kush grower of NHxOH reports little stretch.
While the expert Haze grower of the NH x THH reports lot of stretch.

Normally, you should expect exact the opposite.
Maybe its heavy NL5 pheno of Nevilles x OH.
Those plants look like phenos of JH I grown
I think this ilineage is more selected for indoor haze.
Than longflower haze...

I dont have informations from inside...so its just my speculation.

Btw. Your Haze mints look lekker.

those are really cool i love that type stuff. i recently popped a pack of wenesdays child (atf x skunk18) and the whole pack was an aneuploid swarm. extreme physical mutations in each plant but all different phenotypes. the different mutant types are karyotypes which describe the chromosome arrangment for each. aneuploids dont have whole extra sets like a triploid/tetraploid instead they have individual extra copies. when this happens the dosage sensitive genes located on extra copies become extreme.

so when we have an aneuploid swarm we are seeing the results of many different combinations of extra chromosomes. like going in a producer studio and cranking all the buttons randomly and the chips fall where they may. the swarm will certainly have duds .however the upside is extreme phenotypes and metabolite diversity/increase which cant be accomplished with diploid plants. each invidual chromosome has a predictable result in the simplest aneuploid form- the trisomic. this type has 21 chromosomes so there will be as many karyotypes as chromosome number for species. each magnifying its dosage sensitive traits. to give a rough idea of how that might look here are different terpene and cannabinoid synthase enzymes and pre cursors mapped to the chormosome they appear in.

PH/A5 x TOB.
Smells like grapefruit/mandarin peel.
TOB is Sour apple x Pina x Hawaiian Haze.

love the resin stems. stone guru has been working his silk s haze line which had highest ocimene at last years piffcon. by selecting and crossing the different aneuploid visual markers hes further increased the extreme resin and terpene phenos he found in the original silk work. silk is based on nl5 haze and JJ's nigerian (original seed bank nigeria from early days) stone also found a silk outlier in nigerian buzzsaw by doc d

check out nature farms recent colombian black repo. its brilliant. he only used the full red/black types all green males and 90 percent of green femaleswere culled
. these males are so special and one looks just like yours. he made a good point that the best special mentholated types are not dominant so in a farmed drug line, the crop weed complex pollen can dilute the special ones. green weedy types with muted profile and up high contaminate the line silencing the recessive colored males . but now hes starting all over purging the green if you will be only keeping red type males. check these thinngs out. snowhigh did a similar concept when he made purple vietnamese- vietnam black red stem x dalat. blackcatgenetics333 did large repro of the snowhigh line heres what snow had to say about the red types
