Hey all
Not a huge Indi fan here, but my favorite to grow was
Williams Wonder. She is supposed to be pre Soviet invasion into Afghanistan IBL. These came from sick meds seeds. several years ago. Nice citrus smell and for the indi lovers said to be the only Indica need be grown, not my words.

Was just listening to The Potcast Episode 74 where John from Snow High Seeds was saying that William's Wonder is one of his friend's strains. His friend is from the USA. Listen in at about the 45 minute mark.

The pics I have seen of people growing purest indica look exactly like the pics from Murphy's book from I think the late 70s. At least to my eye.

I thought we were talking about whether or not purest indica and Murphy's afghan were the same. Where are the pics of Murphy's afghan to compare? Have you grown either of them? Or is this the old Todd said mean things about Nevil so discredit everything he touches deal? Where the seeds are for sale you can swipe through the pics and see Murphy's afghan from his book and the very next pic is a purest indica pic that Todd grew. At least that's a direct comparison.

The purest indica doesn't look nor sound like what Steve Murphy's Afghani was. I believe it's the same NL (SMA x Nevil's Mazar-I-Sharif, leaning towards Mazar) Nevil received, from what I seen and how it's described.

I wasn't there, im sure you were not either lol. What you believe really isn't relevant. I'm not prepared to call anyone a liar based on pictures lol. I'm too old to care about any drama between camps lol. Using pics for ID purposes cant be done IMO. I have no clue how they were grown. I don't see anything hybrid looking so far. Since these are seeds and not a clone, variation is gonna be present. Even a clone can express differently from garden to garden. Is it what he says I have no clue but for now ill take his word. They are def pure Afgh genetics IMO.

Sorry for the derailment, Mods. Please feel free to delete or move my posts to an NL thread if you think it doesn't belong.

As for the main topic? I would recommend the 88G13HP line, You can find some nice heavy hitting Hashplants in there.

This has nothing to do with any camp and more to do with keeping a correct lineage.

Greg McAllister's picture of NL1 (aka Purest Indica) shows you it isn't the pure Murphy Afghani, the Mazar-I-Sharif phenos present in the line tells you that.

Posting your opinion on what you believe Todd's PI seeds are is a guess. No clue how you would know what he used to make seeds. You pretty much accused him of selling fake seeds.

This is what Todd posted. I added the bold part.
Seattle Greg inbred PI no other info on the inbreeding work. Then passed the seeds he made around to his friends who crossed them with their seed stock which none know what was used,. This created what is known as the Northern Lights line #1 through #11. #1 is the closest to the original "Purest Indica" and #11 is the most tropical and furthest from "Purest Indica". Anyway, let's get back to more Afghan info and pics.

This is NL#5 from Sensi Seeds.. Im not sure how old this clone is. She looks great.

Todd sold Heime's "Road Kill Skunk", that didn't smell like skunk. Seeds that Todd himself said were less acrid and aromatic than the Skunk #1 via Mel, from 96'.

That is the definition of selling fake seeds, no matter how it is justified.

It's a good line, definitely. I found some interesting phenos but wasn't in a position to maintain clones. She is a PM magnet I found
