I do have a problem though.. u bumped the temp up a lil on my bubble cloner and the clones did not like it :| pulled a few out with mushy stems and turned it back down, added a new clone of each ak and jack so fingers crossed once again! I got a feeling im going to lose the ak..

Ty black rain. Ok the ladies are doing well and heres some pics at 3 and a bit weeks in flower. Coming along nicely and im pleased with the size, but still want to go bigger next time . Anyhoo.. see for yourselves.

Hey doc thats good news I only got 1 pic for you though this time, snapped one before the lights came beaming on 1 clone rooted which i THINK is ak (60% sure) so its hard to tell what im going to do.

Wow man you really have that SCROG thing down huh? Would you say that the extra time it takes to fill the screen is worth it in the long run for a larger yield? I guess you would, huh.

thankyou extinct- i assume you are comparing my larger plants to my smaller? Those grows were jack i beleive and they just stretched up so much. Had no heads by 5th week and as you can see 5th week right now is pullable for jack anyways.

Next grow will be a bit bigger hopefully, just taken 2 grows to figure out nowhere near as much stretching. (i have changed not much else in the cab except upgraded the 400 to 600 and the difference is just nuts!

400 got me stretch and fluffy buds (could have let them go longer but i was impatient too) with around 3-4 oz harvest

600 gets me solid dank compact plants and buds. 10+ oz

Thanks so much for the great thread! I'm just getting back in the swing of things an growing JH from seeds and seeing alot of great different plants. I'm not doing hydro like you but I'm getting really interesting smells. Just curious because I have a purple JH and it got like a whiskey smell to it at are 37 days (she was set back about 10 days when i repotted her so consider her about 27 days give or take), what did/does your JH smell like. Really glad to see you doing well with the 600w, I used to use the 600w and now I can't stop with the 1000w and want to use both the 1000w and 600w, lol. Its like getting tattoos once you get one you want more.

What are you feeding them? Have fun, take care.

hey stoned very nice looking scrog grow you got going there.
Trust me you cant go wrong with JH. One of my favorite stains ive ever grown.
For you JH fans out there here is a shot of one of my grows last year (non-scrog)

hey brothers!

easy- my jack gives off a really strange smell, its definately very indica, rock solid nuggets. I didnt buy seeds i got given clones so im just going by what he told me they were. Anways its sorta a musky smell i suppose? lol maybe some kind of chemical kinda smell?

Joeshmoe fukn nice shot there mate, although really gives me doubts about my jack being real. Looks alot more sativa thats for sure, looks more like my AK.
Either way i love it thanks for comin in

Ok so the jacks pretty much ready but ill give it some more time AK's just starting to get nice nuggets but still a few weeks away which is fine with me

Anways took these pics into the darkness so thats why that aren't so great.

What a beautiful scrog, looks awesome.

Do you find trouble with using chicken wire though, pulling the growth down under to place it in the desired spot? Those are about 1" holes in the chicken wire aren't they?

ya they are about 1inch holes, i find it works well because it keeps it under the screen alot better, pulling it back through the screen i find is easy, sometimes need to trim a leaf or 2 off. I dont let them get too far above the screen for starters. The smaller branches coming out of the middle and off big branches etc. can be harder to deal with but it gets done.
