I am not sure what ghani was used in sensi JF, but you are right, there are skunkfunk phenos. but nothing like rks imo.but sure those ghani skunk cabbage smell.

Nevil used juicy fruit thai for it, as it breeds true for juicy fruit taste, some rare pheno of g13 hybrid or any other hybrid cant work like that, never. juicy fruit line is not line which gives juicy fruit terps rarely, in some sole pheno among other totally different phenos. it has to be line which breeds true for it and thats why gives a lot of phenos like that... but this is automatic thing for those who understand making crossing a little.

by the way my friend breeder found out juicy fruit phenotypes in his Jamaican and tries to fix it. I think he sent some seeds of it to ACE too, so we may see some nice juicy fruit from them in the future.

This is a landrace Afghani Hindu Kush that contained Juicy fruit/bubble gum Terps. (I had better pictures on another forum but the account got deleted so I only have this one.)
I still hold the line in it's purist form, finding JF bubble gum in this line isn't a problem.
I dont know what is rks,chem,og,afghan.. the difference ..but to me its that musky,chem,onions,beer....that smell when you have it that everybody know in EU that you caring skunk in your pocket.....and there are many phenos which look indica in jf that have part of that smell...which super skunk,diesel,chem og have incomon...

For your info I grew the 1999 version of juice fruit NOT "Fruit Juice" like you claimed. Most of the plants I grew were sweet, not all were pure Juicy Fruit I did come a cross a few Afghan leaners that smelled like fruity dank but not "RKS". JF was an Ok smoke and wasn't kept around because we had better shit going.
If you answered like that at 1st it will be ok,Jes I have also expirence with this like that....some where hashy...some very close to blueberry with nice coloration.....

yes, IMHO i believe 70s thai was best in therms of quality. It is icmag wich led me to believe that.
I believe there is an advantage in therms of quantity in 80s Thai. At this Point of Time the fatter Thais appeard, with sometimes an exeptional flowering-trippynes Ratio.
I also belive that, whatevever stands behind those fat Landraces, also from Mexico, that people have hard time reaching such a trippy-floweringtime ratio with their smallscale breeing-efforts at home (smallscale compared to a whole nation)
there we are back to my thoughtprocess of Inbreeding depression, wich may occur after bottlenecking a shortflowering pheno. Opposed to a nation..
Or probably the complexity of Hempinfluence, or any other Forgein influence , mixed in in thousands of plants instead of one.. Eg, migrated very precise wanted traits (shortflowering from Hemp, but trippy from the Thaiside). Very precise cause the thousands of phenos selected, and errors discharged continously next year. Landrace breeding exceeding any smalscale homegrows. (not complaining, just saying)

Were did Nevil say he collected the Thai used in JUICY FRUIT from Thailand MAHA ?.
Nevil fled Australia after he was able to win bail close to a year after his arrest and went directly back to Holland were he then went and worked for Sensi that is a story in its self.
He went direct to Holland as they dont have extradition treaties with the US were Thailand dose.
You could still buy Thai in Amsterdam only a few years ago it may not be as good as the stuff from the 70s and up to mid 80s but you could still get it pre covid and may still be able to get it still.
