not much time these days...
will loose my home and have to stop for some time...
will start again from cut's ... when things are clear..

well the haze story so far just in short...
after THH i'll wanted to know if OHz is better or different...
so i'll asked for and JohnnyChicago and Golli provided me seeds...
got 5 Seedsman from Johnny up and 14 from Golli...
Golli and his crew got the OHz from Sam himself begin 2000...
they selected the best and did some crosses ... also kept the OHz cut's alive...
until trouble was coming up Golli made a repro from the remaining to safe the line...
they found these OHz special... that's why they kept the cuts all the time...
it's different from Seedsman and also different to the other OHz from Sam that i'll got...
to me it's a early made batch of OHz seeds... think begin 90' ... because germination was not so good anymore...
however it's different to Seedsman... and i'll than mixed booth and did a huge repro...
after the first i'll did selections and did another repro with the best...
those seeds got shared here and there...
while i'll did alot of crosses with the OHz boy's i'll also pollinated the best THH cut's with the best OHz males...
those are also got shared here and there...
these mixing of old and new ohz was the right move... brought back the vigor...
still have all cut's ...

5 Seedsman Hz were selected out of 107 in order to make the repro. Very interesting. Are they all from the same batch/mother?

Johnny, you have been in Asia at the same places and seen and smoked and lived the same reality as me at the same time as in VangVieng or Lonely Beach. You have seen how it all suddenly changed and from one year to the next is all gone. I got hooked in Asia until very recently, I came back to my continent and got pissed off at the rubbish they smoke here now, the country and the culture I left dont exist anymore today after 35 years away in Asia. This is how and why I started growing 3 years ago, I knew nothing, I never sprouted a seed in my life, I just wanted to smoke the same I smoked in my life. I dont belong to any community and I find it rare to meet someone who has seen, lived and smoked the same reality as me. So this gives me a point of reference. I really hope Ohz is even better than the stuff we smoked in VangVieng which I really miss a lot

I learnt everything I know from this website basically, I am still impressed that you can become a grower from just reading an internet forum. Amazing knowledge here.
I spent half of my life savings in sourcing commercial hyped seed and growing equipment, the commercial seed has and still is one dissapointment after the other with very little decent surprises

15 months ago I asked on a private message if the Ohz 90 seed and Seedsman hz could be shared, I had an old pack of Seedsman Hz and wasnt sure when I requested this is they were going to sprout so some backup could be great
This was sent to the professional people helping me to receive my seed collection, I have no clue where it was sent from, I only know it comes from MadMac, I dont know, I am a hermit, I dont belong to any community but it was shared anyway and the best stuff I got is coming from the shared stuff and some old seed I succeeded to source:

It took 9 months to arrive to me, they could never make it through customs with this packaging. This year is the first time ever I sprouted all seeds I have of a pack and the chosen ones were Seedsman Haze, Ohz 90s and CG72.

I read many things about hazes on the forum and some things I am seeing here alive dont match with what is written
It is said Ohz seed give 30% males and 70% females
I received 17 Ohz90s seeds. I got 17 plants, 100%, first time ever.
7 girls and 10 boys is what I have

Seedsman Haze:
I have 5 plants from the original pack. 4 girls and 1 boy. Only one girl of the original pack has resin on the stems like the repro from MadMac. The boy has no resin in the stems at all. CG72 boy and girls are all stem resinous like MadMac repros of Ohz90 and Seedsman
From MadMac I received 22 seeds and got 18 plants. 4 seeds didnt sprout
I have 9 girls and 9 boys
Numbers dont match with the 30% male thing

It seems to be a taboo subject and it confuses me too
I sprouted all the seeds staggered so I had 2 different batches of seeds with 30-45 days difference
From the first batch, all Seedsman Hz and Ohz 90s showed intersex trait in a strange manner. It was part of a branch or the tip of it and if you remove it, the plants were not making it again. It happened to environmentally stressed and not stressed plants alike. The Seedsman Hz from the original pack too.
But from the second batch of seeds which had the same envirnmental shock and basically same treatment as the boys from the first batch, this trait is not coming up and the boys are firm. I dont understand why, but anyway I have succeeded to make and collect some very interesting Ohz xy x xy seed from the first batch I want to check and some of them will wait until the day you come back

From THH12 x Ohz I have 4 girls. In vegetative and until they show sex they look all same same
Which Ohz father has been used in the making of this one, Ohz90s or Seedsman Hz?
3 girls are Ohz leaning. One girl is THH looking. But it takes much more time to finnish than THH, I wonder how it will smoke compared to THH

Next year I am sprouting the South east Asian cross from MadMac together with the ones I am making now to compare in order to improve which is what I think should be the main effort, improving the hazes lines

Must be a misunderstanding from him, as only me can know what I gift to who and why.
Discussion that has no reason to exist.

MadMac is the only one who got gifted my males lines separately.
He got my metal line, 50 seeds.
My incense line, 50 seeds
And another 7 seeds on top.

I don't know what he uses in his work.
But he got the very best seeds, to preserve the OH lines the best way possible.



Your stats just confirm what SamS always said.
High % of females to males ratio on the most legit Original Haze that we have.

Intersex is no taboo with Original Haze. That's incense that it is
Never saw nor have heard of any intersex on the Seedsman haze.
Hundreds of plants.

But I know of one grow, of one respected grower, where all the plants have been sexually unstable.

Why the repro/s from the original stock dont have the same numbers?

The 7 seeds on top of the 100 from the male lines are from the original Seedsman release? Any of these 7 original seeds have been used?
I am curious to know if the 5 used in the repro came all from one of the males or if they have been selected from both and in what proportion.

I am glad intersex and incest is no taboo
My situation doesnt really fit into any of the previous experiences
I simply dont know how I got them to show intersex traits and I would like to make it again if I knew how
Outdoors they didnt show any intersex trait. It happened indoors when temperatures outside were hot reaching a little over 40C inside the greenhouse
But it happened to the males who didnt go through the stress fase too, so I really dont know how I triggered the trait
The second batch came indoors with lower outdoors temperatures and they have no complaints and so far they look firm
I asked a very reputable grower who has my same environment in my same latitude and he works with Seedsman haze for long years and grew lots of them. He said it never happened to him
I am flowering the cuts of these first batch males indoors and they dont intersex so far, I have no clue what made them show pistils, outcrossing them with other males is fun, I wish I knew how to do the trick

This is THH12 x Ohz, is this Ohz in the cross coming from seedsman or Ohz90s? It would be nice to touch a flower or two with pollen of the missing haze line in the cross
The 4 girls showed sex with times close to Ohz, 6 to 9 weeks it took. The THH repros I have take 4 weeks to show sex
I sexed them indoors and brought them out with initial flowering a month before autumm equinox. Girl #1 kept slowly flowering but the rest of the girtls only started flowering really after the equinox

Girl#4, it has the structure of THH and stretches like THH but is much longer flowering than THH, she is much shorter than her 3 sisters. The other 3 girls are clearly Ohz looking, same stretch and structure as Ohz

They reached 3 meters tall and keep stretching

the proof of the pudding is the eating
and when the cook created something new from the ingredients ...
than it's something new... and not a reproduction of anything.
the cook is the one who did the work... made selections and created the meal...

i'm soo happy i'll shared so well...
that all who wanted have now a chance to try for free...
i'll never got the chance when i'll wanted and started ... that was my return...
many did not like to share and wanted it for a small group only...

happy i'll changed this behavior a little... and grower start to share more and more...
and that's what counts in the end... it's not the haze or the hybrids...
it's the way how to ... and to make a better community ... where sharing comes back like in the old day's ...
respect for other growers... and preserve and share rar genetics so good one can... that's how to safe the genetics ...
and that's the right path... and i'll keep following...

well tonight is the night when i'll move all my pregnant plants... 36 in total...
my best work in term of managing and timeframe for pollinating...
i'll did so many because i'll already had this feeling it could be the last run...
well do another with the Zamaldelica(breeder pack) & Caledonia, NL#5 89' etc...
but not @ my place anymore... cleaned the house complete...
it's now drug free ... no trace of anything...
seeds are also @ a safe place and my OHz cut's too... most important...

well last time to make it clear what i'll used... and Johnny should know that too...
5 Seedsman gifted by JohnnyChicago and 14 OHz90 gifted by Golli for the OHz i'll shared ...
nothing else.... no other haze used.
those seeds Johnny gifted extra are unused... and can be returned if needed...
don't know why he brings it up all time.
pictures and info's about are all in the OHz thread... also how too.
for THH and others i'l used the 90' males because of resin on them...
finally my last 3 seedmaking i'll used only one 90' OHz male...
i'll vaped him... and he was the best...

so again all OHz shared are a new line... OHz Seedsman x OHz 90 and via versa.
not a repro of Seedsman nor 90'
the seeds labeled with Seedsman and 90' OHz are from the Seedsman or 90 OHz girl.
hope this clears things up.

And your work on the Hazes is yours MadMac.
Just like the seeds you got gifted.
Without you, our Hazes would still be undiscovered.
This Haze revival simply not happening
Johnny still trying to bring his OH under the people.
And even if I have shared it with tens of people, who got great seeds too.
There is only one MadMac who has ever highlighted the OH like you have done.
The others, me inclusive of course, far behind.
You have even helped me to bring my own OH seeds under the people, before sharing the Seedsman Haze with the people yourself.

This has to be written down once too. Just like the numbers the other day. That really are not a conern.
