i always though the white supremacist were the problem, those that think the white race is superior and has the right to loot all other races. and it turns out according to mirriams websters white nationalist is the same as white supremacy. ie real racism

The only active White Supremacists that I've met were Jewish people, mostly in California.

I see pictures of "white supremacists" on shows like Sons of Anarchy or Justified. But I've never met one of them in real life.

My dad´s has his shots and my mum got her first one on sunday. It was a bit of a spur of the moment thing organized by a family friend. Her second shot is scheduled for mid-May.
I was surprised when she told me that she was able to chose which vaccine she wanted. She chose the BionTech/Pfizer one. I´m kinda glad she didn´t get the AstraVenica one.
I talked to her sunday evening when she told me about it and I called her again yesterday aftenoon to see how she was doing and asked her about side effects and so on. she says that she´s fine but is just feeling tired that´s all.
so far so good.

I just don't have enough confidence in the people who are telling me that this is the only way to not catch the corona virus,
any more than I have confidence in the people who tell me how bad the vaccination is...

For now I'll just continue to use caution when I'm around other people...This is easy for me to do since I live way out in the country...

I'm an old guy and I've never had a flu shot either... and I've only had the flu 3 times in almost 67 years...

Don't flame me... I'm not so sure that certain well known people are really that much smarter about this than I am....

And a lot of those certain people have their own selfish motives to try to get me to do what they want me to...

well, left arm is apparently going to fall off, lol. 12 hours in, starting to feel rough. first shot from Moderna was just a sore arm that did not show until next day. virus-positive supervisor from work with over 100 F fever for 7 days probably going to hospital tomorrow, already on (hopefully) preventative anti-pneumonia protocol.. 4 more out for testing now...

all six of those this AM getting the shot that i saw (me included) were in 60s or older except for a ragged-ass hippy looking sort in late twenties or thirties...lol. GEEZERS ROCK! ouch, that hurt...

it was a fairly even mix, plenty of young phone zombies,a few families, the crusty set....but they were assembly lining people through pretty quickly...new mexico did,and is doing a great job...came open for me on monday, signed up on the website, had an appointment time 2 hours later, got the first shot 2 days after i signed up,had the next appointment set 2 hours after i got back from the first shot...

i felt like i got knuckle punched in the arm, aside from that no side effects, pain gone in 48 hours....but i hear the second shot is worse...i rode home 7 miles after the first shot

My first vote cast, was against Nixon in 1972...

I've had a kinda distrust of the govt. since I was in my mid teens....
When I was in high school they said smoking weed would cause me to grow tits.
I didn't believe 'em then...Why should I trust 'em now, on this vaccine?

By the way, this guy doesn't influence me any, since I've been tokin' since before he was born, but I know a lot of you dig him:
I saw recent short vids by Snoop Dog, and he ain't getting the vaccine either....

the "war on drugs" and utter failures to be honest about cannabis did more damage (along with the war in Viet Nam) to the trust Americans had in their government than can ever be measured. if young people catch you in one damn lie, you may never get them to really believe you again...no amount of hyperbole about anything is going to sink in. it will always be "yeah, i've heard that horseshit before..."

University study: Pfizer vaccinees have an 8 times higher chance of corona mutation

What independent scientists have already warned about has now been confirmed: vaccinated people are much more susceptible to some corona mutations. A study by Tel Aviv University shows that people who have been injected with the Pfizer vaccine have an 8 times higher chance of getting the South African variant of the corona virus. 'We all do it for healthcare' could have the exact opposite effect if more and more vaccinated people have to be hospitalized.

In top vaccination nation Israel, the South African B.1.351 variant of the coronavirus is found in no less than 5.4% of the Pfizer vaccinees.
This is only 0.7% for unvaccinated people. "This means that this variant is capable of breaking through vaccine protection to some extent," commented University's Adi Stern.

Surprised by the outcome', but why?
Stern admitted that the scientific team is "surprised" by the outcome. Of the 400 people surveyed, they had only expected one case of the South African variant, and not 8. "Of course I was not happy about that."
It is, however, a variant that occurs rarely (1% of all suspected Covid cases), although this could be changed by the vaccine. After all: this mutation is hardly found in unvaccinated people, which means that the natural immune system is much better able to ward off this (presumed) virus. Without vaccines, this harmless mutation would not have had a chance.
