ahhh have to love once you get them in the ground how well they respond. that plant is a beauty BC, with how much season we got you should be very pleased with how fat she gets!! will be kickin back watching as many grows in my spare time as possible.

Yay! Its raining! I was getting worried that I was going to have to start watering everything a month or two early, the rains aren't supposed to completly stop until late June, but its been couple of weeks since our last rain. Sigh of relief!

Tirs-During my Guerilla "carreer", my largest has been 3.5oz, my average is about 3oz. In the past I have always made security paramount, and provide lots of cover for the plants by hiding them amoung the native plants.
The problem is that this restricts my sunshine alot, resulting in low yields of decent bud, this year I have made sure that my best plants are in areas with tons of sunshine all season long, with lots of water available, and great soil, all these things I am doing to try and get some nice plants, maybe a few between a quarter and a half pound. We will see if I got it dial in, and cross my paranoid fingers I am not gonna get myself caught going light on the cover.

hahaha sounds the same as me there backcountry. except i just dont want sum little kids to find my ladies and have all the fun. not too worried about the popo. wow i cant believe how your plants have exploded. mine are just getting ready to go outside. i will make sure to get sum pics up soon.

hey guys. been watching this site for awhile and finally registered. i used to be an og guy also and last year things came up that kept me from being so interested. of course i grew but i had to give all the rewards to a friend because of work travels. oh well. it is always fun. my buddy enjoyed it too. (lucky bastard). all he had to do was harvest. haha. im in good shape for this year. put a few out. some got nipped by vermin already. one im questioning sex and one is in low light conditions so it isnt making me happy. got my favorite on the balcony getting strong and should go out this weekend. it has crazy branching already and is only 10in tall. very wierd. this strain, (questionable but from a medicinal source is very sativa dominate.) 2yrs ago i had a monster tree. mass branches. last year i topped and got 2 that were as tall as me. (no maintenance whatsoever). been growin outdoors off n on for 10 yrs. always gets better. ill keep it short. im watchin ya backcountry as it seems to be my situation too. heres to all who put in the time and effort. i love reading while i wait. maybe pics someday for you guys. bye

backcountry and boris, my story sounds jsut like yours as well! haha, ive got 6 white widow seedlings sprouted and waiting to get big enough to go out to my secret spot where I pray I don't get caught!!! Bcountry I love your set-up you can tellyou know what your doing. Judging by your last yeilds I'd say this one really look like your going to get some nice buds, tons more! Thanks for replying on my oregon seed, I really think it is p90. That is an oregon strain right? Well it was either yours or somone else oregon p90 I saw on this site and it looked exactly the same. Well, I'm known for changing plans often during planting season....I decided to add a couple more "High maintinence" plots. I planted the fifth one yesterday evening-
All of these plants are OR95x Northern lights(ORxN), they are plants who have shown no sex. Because many males from this generation of plants have shown sex, I am assuming these will show a high ratio of females, so I have decided to take better care of them.
The plants took a beating on the trip to the plot, but they will spring back up.
The plot is positioned with a thick wide bush to its rear(the north side), there is no light comming from that direction, so I use the bush to provide very effective cover from that direction.
Also notice that the plants are well protected from Deer in that direction, enabling me to use wire only on one side of the plot. Berry vines protect the plot in front as well, but I will need to use pieces of the fence at a later date to seal them up, leaving a minimum of wire in my almost natural fence.
The plot faces due south, and is positioned on a steep south facing hillside, with lots of varried native vegetation:
Douglas fir
Pacific Madrone
California White Oak
Big leaf maple
Poision oak
Himilayan Blackberry
Wild Hazel nut
Manzinita
Oregon Ash
Wild Plum
Ponderosa Pine
Various Raspberries
And more........
The funny thing is I don't know what kind of plant I am using as backcover, its one I have obviously not run into much, but its great!
This area is a old clearcut, about 8-14 years ago most of the marketable timber was logged. A variety af native plants, as well as replanted Douglas fir have filled the void, and provided great locations for guerrilla growing. I like growing in areas with a large variety of native plants, it makes it easier to hide your plots.

Hey Backcounty. I always follow your outdoor grows. And aside from the obvious skill you exhibit, I always notice your Golden Retriever. She is awesome, I bet she just loves adventuring to your plots. We just put ours down last weekend, but I bet she would rather be out exploring like your pup!

It seems dry for May here, I wish it would rain a bit more often, its too early for summer already!
Fast pine- Most of the tree roots I encounter are easily chopped with my shovel, but the huge Madrone and Fir trees behind HM#4 were a pain in the ass! The soil at HM#5 was very nice, it was a nice sandy loam, should be a decent crop there I hope.
