Day 38
So today after a small evaluation I decided to move the screen and resort to
good ol fashioned LST (when and if i need it...)

The res has been taking 4 water bottles a day (temps have been 90-95F)

Plant looks cool when you cannot see evidence of any training .

Both of these babies on full strength veg, plant on the right is the real winner

Now with their new screen things should be easy to control, im preparing for
12/12, and still considering the rerooting thing, not sure if its worth sacrificing
the top of my plant and having second thoughts .

Just keep going as it is mate. If you had more plants I'd say go for it but you've only got a few.

Yep thanks samm, that's what i needed to hear... it seems as if it would just add at
least a week to get the roots and i would be sacrificing the best part of my plant.

Look who's back... I'll be posting the last couple of pics from the PC if anyone's interested, not really any good pics though, and I'm going to be starting another grow in the case, this time going for as little maintenance as possible, seeing just how simple we can make growing your own. Good to see Sammet's still around too.

Pistils have begun to turn all over the plant but these buds are still looking underdeveloped seems like this thing is gonna make it just about 8-9 weeks.


Crystals are still showing up clear so you cant always go by the color of the hairs.
Just wating for these girls to beef up now...


I am going to train these two into a "U" shape so my tallest shoots are on the
left and right sides and lowest shoots in the middle. Hopefully with more the more
proper training and longer vegatative time these two will at least double what
my current harvest offers

Updates, this plant just lacks size so i decided to try something new:




Canopy and sideshot, not much of a change, have accumulated some mass
over the past 7 days

These are two shots of the same shoot, one of the top and one of some of
the lower buds.

As for the plants under the screen, the screen was raise 1/2 an inch and starting
tonite lights are being switched to flowering on these.

Canopy and side shot of this plant, if you strain your eves enough you can see
that they have added some mass since last week, however i think she is drinking
more nutes than water (it seems my res is now filled with pure water!)
ph is off the hook often rising to 7 or above in less than 24 hours.


Fiddled with the cam some great shots of the trichs (screw the magnifying glass )


It has a lovely fruity smell comparable to Pineapple strains i have had in the past.


Things may not be as exciting as trichs but one week into their flowering and
they are really sucking up the transition nutes. With the added veg time i
hope these do better than their mother did.

Hopefully another week or two at the most and i will begin a 7 day flush (this
will mean 12 weeks total flowering this plant.)

After the harvest, my plants that are a week into flowering will move to their
new home, under the 150w HPS.

Then i plant to try my luck with with a couple cuttings I am thinking Church,
and Purple Kush as they are readily available for free for me right now!

Church and Purple Kush sound like good choices mate, It looks like you'll have a pretty decent harvest on the top plant too(shiva right?). Keep it up man.

Samm yield looks like an oz, if i do things right, but more importantly these nugs
will make up my highest quality harvest and i have next time to work on quanity!
(sound like the words of a loser!!!)

Just a quick update I have started using Botonicare Sweet in my res with my
mature flower plant (Blast?) nutrients, from an unlabeled and trusted source!
Along with Botonicare bloom, and liquid karma for a total of 1400ppm. ph levels are still on the constant rise...

Under the screen the right plant under the received a dosage of bushmaster,
only the right plant will marinat in this about 3 days followed by a resevoir swap.
The left plant under the screen will hopefully catch up.

Some trich shots tell all, it seems as if we have hit the cloudy stage where
about 60-70% of my trichs are cloudy, maybe less than 5% show signs of
turning amber...
I am planning to hold off until Saturday, flushing one week and
pulling these babies at 66 days before i get too many amber trichs.

Ok so when i recieved this clone i was told to throw her into flowering for 6-8
weeks and here we are now at 8 weeks and 3 days. Trichs are mostly
cloudy and a very very small amount of amber trichs still and even less clear trichs...

I performed a resevoir swap with ph balanced water and in about a week or
so this plant should be ready for harvest .

Day 14 Flower

Left side really is beginning to catch up to the right, thanks to that bushmaster,
however i am still trying to balance the ph of the right side ever since a res swap
i did on wednesday. Just one more week and these ladies will experience raw
HPS power!

To follow up on this grow i would have to say i will be keeping more fan leaves
in the future. However i plan to clip my fan leaves when i start my flush in the
future leaving my final product looking like my plant today.
It was sooo easy to trim.


Ah the next generation is already looking much better with stems that are
at least twice as thick as their mother was at 3 weeks. 1st day under HPS.


Ok and as for future generations.... 6 cuttings, all Church (Greenhouse Seed
Co.) Dipped in Rootech rooting hormone, then placed under 4 cfls at 24/0 in my
bubble cloner.

Things are looking good mate, I'm still amazed you managed to flower out that cutting. Good perseverance my friend.

So what started as a random act of desperation and my laziness to get a new
clone ended with a learning experience . I am amazed the plant made it myself,
and I am very interested to see how the clones of my mutant turn out.

Samm, I have downloaded the smoke report you did on your page and will be filling
out one very similar once i have been able to cure for about a month. As soon
as my bud is dry to the snap its going to the jars, due it its small size i expect
to see that within 3 days of harvest, but well see...

Just got a random bagseed it was one seed in the entire quarter of really good
smoke, Purple Haze, the seed is currently germinating, any experiences with the
strain? Oh well hope it pops...
