so anyway i went shopping today

so anyway i went shopping today

i got 4 15" and 2 8"
the 2 8" are for a smaller one im working on. they did not have 4 as i need but thats how it go's.
but i guess it was good becuz i broke 1 of the 15" right in half. so now i have 2 just a little smaller then 8" but it will work .
2168clone_67_-med.JPG

i all so picked up 2 thing's i need
1. a MUST HAVE fire alarm's
2. duct tape. ( not ducktape )
it's for the intake and out take soon to come

after playing with the bubble stones it's best to run one line from the air pump to EACH stone.all the air go's to one of the 4.
(or 2 -3 5 how every you try. trust me i tryed)

also run into both side's of the stone. here is were you can tee it. air from both side's give's it a much more even line of bubbles.
2168clone_69_-med.JPG

so to run 4 stones you need 2 pumps (2 outputs per pump)
2168clone_70_-med.JPG

or im thinking the nice gh air pump has 4 outputs.

this is only 2 of the stone's running
i have to get the other 15"stone & pump.

2168clone_68_-med.JPG

also once you get all the stones where you want them. add the water needed leave it a lil low. turn on your pump's and watch the stones you will see more then likely one side well push more air then the other.
the best thing i have found so far is to tap the stone all the way a crossed then take a thumb tac and push open the stone at the points where not much air is being let out.
( dont poke hole's it dont take much to open up the stone
tapping it sumwhat hard dose a lot the tac is only if needed.
the first one i did i had to put holes in it was just unreal how that stone sucked ass.......( the blue ones a few pic up)

the best stone i have found so far are the brand name
"lee's aquarium & pet products"

My local growshop has a fantastic coupkle of pumps, a 4 outlet one for 45 quid, and a 6 outlet, for 65 quid. they r adjustable, and he says theoretically, u could use gang valves, yurn it up full poer, and run two buckets per outlet, 12 buckets, from 1 pump, that is cool.

thats what is said about the gh pump as well. ( 16 buckets)
i ran 4 off the same pump that im using with tee's.
for sum reason the bubble stone's either needs a lot more psi or thats just how they work.
i talked to a friend today we are going to run some test's. we will be put a aircompresser on it and see what psi it takes to get them all jamming.........or if it's just gonna be that way......
thats on a back burner right now :)
i have other thing's that need to get done first.

heres a clone that is 4 days from cliping.....silverhaze the fastest clone i have seen yet...

I got sum great airstones 4 my bubblers, they r sort of a long tubular length of foam, with a flexible rod inside, and hles in the foam, the bend to shape in thr buckets, so u can direct the air, i have a long one coiled up in a big spiral all the way from the very edge of the inside of the bottom, right in2 the centr, very even bubble coverage, and quite vigorous too.

bubblecloners are awsome. I rooted clones taken from flowering plants in less then ~10 days.

Considering all I did was cut them, throw them in the cloner, and top the cloner off twice Id say its a simple and effective method.

Very good documentation 00420, I have gotten some very good ideas from looking at how others do grow/room construction, thanks for your contribution, I have learned some good things from this one as well, I am at a temporary/beta site right now, it was constructed to test out the bio-buckets before moving them to there permanent place.
  • Thanks for: the wiring tip’s.
  • Picture of old Indian with piece pip.
  • Visual pointers by photos.
  • Dehumidifying tip’s.
  • Cloning tip’s, btw (what is the name of that cloning gel, and does it work well with those Oasis Cubs).
  • Tutorial on home made bubble cloner.

ive cloned in soil, per;ite, and used a bubble cloner, and to be honest, the best results i had was in soil ion the dome, easy peasy to do it, just using jiffy 7's, put sum soil in the tray of the propogater, do ur cloning thing, and put the cuts, with a generous dose of clonex or whateva u use, and in2 the hole in the pellet(u need to make this coz the hole in there already aint enuff) usually u got some root activity within 10 days, once u get so u timing the cuts right, it doesnt matter if it takes a week or so, coz u will take that in2 accout when working out when 2 take em. i dont even use the jiffys now, i just use small pots of soil str8 in2 the dome, without any soil in the base. havent lost any doing this yet.

well now!!!!!!

well now!!!!!!

im not done with the cloning all edit l8ter. i have other things that are more importin :)

first. in a grow room you need 1 or the other good air movement or co2 &dehu's.

i like moving my air at the night time & in veg, that way i dont get mold at night or have to run the a/c in veg.
in flower i run the a/c,co2 &dehu'swhen lights are on
turn all 3 off and intake/outtake fan's on when lights are off.

heres what im using for intake right now
when i get the hood's or cooltubes (not sure just yet.) this will be what i use for them and find sumthing else for freshair.

2168in_take_fan_s-med.JPG

2168intake_fans-med.JPG

i pick the fan's up on ebay for 5 bux each made a lil frameput a 12 x 6 x 6 duct at the end and baaaaaam! a 1000cfm theres 2 speed's on them and there also 110 or 220.
the 2 speed's work by the power input (speed 1 110V speed 2 220v) on 110v there 265 cfm each on 220v there 500cfm each.
theres 2 110 plugs on them
*BECARFUL* WHEN PLUGING IN 220V INTO 110.
i know what im doing when i did this. you can just plug in both 110v plugs to one outlet. becuz it's really a 220v input.
the 2 110v lines i ran to the room are driveing at dif time's ( like a 220v)
i have one pluged in to the left 110v & 1 into the right 110v.
so the fans really see 220v not 110v.
even know thats how there ran.
*if you dont know how to do this don't*

there both on timers to turn on when lights go out.

k now my a/c is on the other side of the room so i have to move (hot) air from one side of the room to the other.
i was going to use this as a outtake. but dont think i need it
to cooling the room is more importing and my intakes push enuff air i dont need a fan blowing out.
i like pushing more air then i pull.

this is not the greatest fan but it was free so all use it tell i get a new one. it says 952 cfm. but i dont think it push's that at all....lol

2168outtake_14_-med.JPG

i still need to mount the fanand take a few more pic.

i find that if you work one one project at a time other stuff get's left behind. and not time to think about what you really working on.

so i move on to the next item.

ways of growing.........many there are.
soil coco rockwool perlite vermiculite a mix of the 2 hydroton lava rock hell i even hurd ppl grow in glass.....moss. and the other 100 ways i could think of.
it all come down to you have to water them and there gonna have a run off.
in a soilless grow your going to have a lot run off.
i use perlite. just by it self, going to try hydroton soon i have try'd a few dwc's but did not have luck. ( i need a water cooler with the power i run)

as most of you know perlite don't hold water very well but it dose for 24 hr's i think it might even need to be feed more but hand feeding theres no way to do that.

so i built this.

here's a few tool i used.
