YOUR WORST/DISAPOINTED/OVERATED STRAIN(S)

I had to mention Caramella here, because it´s breeder claims it to be a proven stable strain.

Gotcha. My Caramella was from a dispensary clone; interesting to hear about someone's experience with the seeds. Thanks for the feedback.

my worst to date has to be the AK 48 by nirvana ...

Out of a femmed 5 pack i got only 1 that was half decent but even it was under par ...
no taste or little to no high ...

That is a bummer nickman. My experience with AK48 femmed from Nirvana was great. 2 of 5 were grown out and both were superb, one was grapey, the other lemon-limey - both had a tasty sativa high with indica structure.

On the other hand, Sour Cream , let me down with fluff this year in the hoose.

What was the overall quality like with sour diesel? I'd expect long flowering times with low yields, but some people say it's worth it for the high, the potency, and the unique taste. It's on my list to grow sometime in the next few years.

I've been disappointed in these strains:

Sensi Northern Lights (slow growth, low yield, low potency)
Dutch Passion Twilight (half hermies, tall thin plants with tiny buds, most plants were very weak in potency)
Spice of Life Blue Satellite 2.2 (beautiful plants covered in trichomes, but weak potency with a boring high)
Nirvana Wonder Woman (only 3/10 germinated, both females grew balls, low yield of some of the weakest buds I've grown)

I recently germed a pack of 10 femmed Nirvana Papaya

3/10 popped and 2 of those did nothing and died. The one that did pop is runtish. Unacceptable.

On the other hand at the same time I germed a 10 pack of femmed Nirvana PurePowerPlant. All 10 popped, and I have 9 healthy plants and a runt.

This is my second try with Papaya. A friend gave me 3 beans of it about 6 months ago. None germed.

Papaya might be a good strain, but how the fuck would I know, my seeds dont grow.

And dont tell me I dont know what Im doing.

most people know to stay away from nirvana

I wouldn't go that far. White Rhino and K2 were two of the best indica dominant strains I've grown. I wish I still had that K2 mother plant. Chrystal was decent, not the most potent but an interesting high with a unique flavor. Wonder Woman was the only strain of theirs I had problems with. Out of four Nirvana strains, I got two great ones, one that was pretty good, and one that disappointed me. Those four packs of seeds cost less than some breeders charge for a single pack.

+1 For the same amount of $$ you have a much higher chance to get something worth keeping. There are some real gems in Nirvana's gear, just have to be willing to take the time to find them.

WORD. K2 was the first real strain (not bagseed) that I ever grew. Not the strongest potency wise, but an all around great plant. I grew her for 3 years before I lost her to a major security breach. I miss her too.

Worst.

Worst.

Greenhouse-fem SSH.

it would not stop vegging. never put on a single solid bud. 4 months of 12/12 and it was barely any flowers, but man was it huge. Half a XXL tent.

my bagseeds and Paradise-Fem Jacky White ran twice through and were leaps and bounds better.

worst: anything from GHS

Best: the last cut I got from an old 25 year grower here in Santa Cruz, a cut called Allen Wrench, ran it indoor and outdoor, both are in BIG demand atm and were Awesome!

Greenhouse bubba kush fem, overpriced, crinkle leaf, weak, unhealthy plants (and they were grown right next to thriving healthy hindu kush and landrace afghans)
