I'm lost KM, are you saying strict compliance, or strict laws, or strict accountability is oxymoronic? The law doesn't have a guideline to be accountable.
No, I am saying they want to hold us strictly accountable...for loosely written Laws--

old news my ass... maybe if you're in a friendly county but this sends a nice fuck you to all the counties that continue to ignore state law in favor of enforcing federal laws (like to see them apply that same mentality to the prison system)... for growers it's a green light... brokers, club owners, etc... not so much
The memo, officials said, is designed to give a sense of prosecutorial priorities to U.S. Attorneys in the states that allow medical marijuana. It notes that pot sales in the United States are the largest source of money for violent Mexican drug cartels,...
How is it a green light for growers??
They want to hold us accountable for for being in "Strict" compliance with State Law...but the Law has no "Strict" guidelines as to how to go about this--
it is much easier to grow under state law than it is to distribute; especially if you have an exemption to the 6 plant limit, in cali of course. grow your own and they'll leave you alone is what i take away from the new guidelines

they still raided dispensaries and co-ops after obama said they would stop the first time. I don't really believe this will change anything.
those dispensaries weren't in compliance.
they raided a handful in LA out of the 600-1000 that operate there.
I don't think they just threw darts at map to target those dispensaries.
There's gonna be more raids after this memo simply because of the fact that many of the dispensaries are not in compliance.
How many raids...and how many arrests/charges??
Those were "Robberies"--
At least if some dispensary does everything they can to be in compliance even if it's just one more thing then another dispensariy then this is a little more insurance to them. Theoretically it should drop them down the raid totem pole so what have dispensaries have to lose by trying to be in compliance?
