Nothing to worry about. The plant is healing and creating new growth some of which will become root cells.

Callus (cell biology)

In biological research and biotechnology, a callus of cells (plural calli) is a mass of undifferentiated cells. In plant biology, callus cells are those cells that cover a plant wound.

Excellent. I have had those nobs sometimes and wasn't aware I was using to much rooting hormone. Thinking back I have been using less and don't have that anymore.

Great to learn something new.
