Good luck guessing the veg time. Are you taking clones off them for a 2nd crop? I'm sorry I just read this thread over twice to see if I could find it, what the hell is FIM??? Some kind of topping or bending? Have fun man. Everythings heathy gotta like that yee haw.

Time for a small update! I am pleased to announce that tomorrow, it will be picture time en masse! :)

Wow, I never realized just how much and fast the foilage and lower parts grow, when you top a plant! They are getting wide as fuck, and some are easily twice as wide as tall..

The FIM job seems to have gone well! At first I was a little sceptical, cause I honestly dont know the plant development well enough yet, to be able to see every little different thing BUT - both my one Skunk #1, 2 x White Widow and 1 x Blueberry all have what seem to be FOUR shoots going for them. The two that would normally appear from topping, and two very tiny beginning shoots over them. Im excited! The last Blueberry looks to have 3 shoots.

Luv: FIM stands for 'fuck i missed' and is a form of topping where you only remove about 80 % of the growth tip. By doing this you should also be topping the next growth (I think) and sometimes this will result in more than the 2 tops recieved from topping.

I am contemplating reducing the light hours by 15 minutes everyday from now and until I reach about 14/10 - Does anybody have any experience doing this? Im doing 20/4 atm, so that would mean that in 24 days, I will be at 14/10 and hopefully minimize the change the plants have to undergo going into flower(I heard it is more natural and also decreases stretch?)

The plants will then be 36 days (from sprout) and should be showing pre flowers and be ready for flowering.. How does that sound?

Holy shi.. after 0.5 l sugarwater directly onto the cpu, motherboard, memory, hdd and power supply.. I swear, it was inside the cpu, and I had to wipe it carefully.. The computer is now back on and running! Amazing..

On to the plants! Later this evening I will be doing my first picture update :dance013: Most of them are already 20+ cm! And are frekkin bushy! But the grow tips have all started to emerge nicely :)

Check in later for pictures!

Anybody have an opinion on decreasing the timer everyday and gently ease the plants into flower? :)

Looking good Guffe and nice with some pics wee!! :)

I really have no opinion on easing into flowering i personally just make the switch from one day to the next.

In my experience i see no reason to ease them into it... but i could be wrong.

Have fun man

Hey DKMillo and thanks for your opinion :)

They are getting big, ranging between 21 and 28 cm.. I think I will turn the switch once the little onces get a little bigger, although im tempted to do it sooner!

Im aiming for a finishing height of about 70-80 cm..

I also did some super cropping yesterday which most of the plants have recovered from already, 15 hours later..

Im puzzling of turning the switch today.. gonna grab a few shots, hope to get some opinions wether its too soon to switch :)
