I did not have those kind of toys growing up. My favs were my fishing rod, my BB gun, my knife and hatchet, and Bear my Labrador.

Lego was my #1 when I was a kid. I would spend months making space stations/racetracks/castles and have epic battles w/ my action heroes.

Next came Pogs.. Fuck I would play pogs for hours after school with kids from the neighborhood, for keepsies.

Marbles was dank too, turn based vs someone else. Dig a hole in the grass, start at the same point as opponent 10+ ft from hole. Flick them with ur fingers. First to get all marbles in wins. U can knock other peoples marbles away from hole too if u were good enough.

Last, I would hunt bugs in my backyard with my NERF gun. Ended a lot of lives like that.

Lego...

Closely followed by a box of matches... LOL

Or just play wars throwing stones at each other... have the scars to prove it!

Nice to re-visit all those memories when things were so simple and innocent.

i remember when i experimented making a bomb with two
box of match heads scraped into a ball of tin foil and packed
tightly.
test area-spare room-(very small)
ignition- device hammer

explosive on floor and a whack with the hammer:eek: and the hammer flies back after the almighty bang that echoed
and deafend me for a day.

Sonic Air Blaster!! 1967, this was a toy bazooka that used air pressure. It was great! We use to hide in the hedge along the street and shoot cars as they went by. Peeps thought they hit something. Loved it so much, when it finally crapped out I gave it a funeral and buried it in my backyard...

How about making mini rockets with aluminum foil wrapped matches?
