What is the strongest smelling gas/diesel/fuel strain in your experience?

when did this "fuel/diesel" smelling weed first come around?
I been out of the grow scene too long and I come back and everyone is talking about Glue and Chem and Fuel and Diesel and fuggen girl scout cookies for cripes sakes LOL
heck when I quit growing Kush wasn't a name thrown around so easily, Kush meant "from the hindhu kush region. In fact, the term OG wasn't even coined yet or when it was it stood for "the original". These days there 1000 different kushes,100's of "OG's", 50 kinds of cookies and people are talking about weed that smells like gasoline or diesel fuel LOL I do know that after the fast buds fiasco.... the is only ONE Glue LOL

I drive a 1st gen dodge cummins diesel and while I absolutely love my truck..... I certainly don't like the smell of diesel..... so what gives??

the Diesel type smell being described isn't like the actual diesel truck fuel smell but more of a mix of skunky, astringent, chemy, anise, pungent type smells, that can sometime have a bit of sweetness to it as well. Its a very complex synergy of different odors(mostly Skunky/Chemy) type that make up what is the Diesel smell, That's the best way I can describe it really.

the Diesel type smell being described isn't like the actual diesel truck fuel smell but more of a mix of skunky, astringent, chemy, anise, pungent type smells, that can sometime have a bit of sweetness to it as well. Its a very complex synergy of different odors(mostly Skunky/Chemy) type that make up what is the Diesel smell, That's the best way I can describe it really.

Some of the most diesel, gas was a pheno of Neville haze x Kali Mist the pine smell was so strong that was very diesel like the oils for dilute paints...

While it is true with most Diesel types that the smell isn't actually like fuel. The pheno of Shaman I mentioned ie the black pheno, does smell like fuel. Somewhat off putting with a strange draw of attraction that isn't explainable. Not to mention totally black flowers with bright orange hairs. Very different from most things on the market right now.
