My countrymen are Muppets mate lol.
People like what they like. I was just never interested one little bit. I liked a having a kickabout wehn I was a kid, as much the the next lad, but watching it and looking at it like it matters...Naaah.
To be honest I think spectator sport in all it's forms serves the purpose that Bill Hicks ascribed to American gladiators, as well as being someting tp channel our inherent tribalism through.

I've seen that before, but it never fails to crack me up! My face hurts from laughing/smiling so hard for 3 minutes! Whoever thought to put him in slow-motion is a genius.

All the Cosmos episodes are excellent, but this one I just watched was even better than excellent. I'll be sad when this program gets finished.
