Since I spent the last decade of my career selling to the knob twisters, I always look at the music credits. With Serban Ghenea mixing and Randy Merrill mastering, it is usually pretty good . . .

Lloyiso. A South African singer that has been popping up a lot over the last year. This stunning homage to SA women murdered by their spouses is well worth a listen just to hear his voice . . . even if it is in Xhosa . . .

Still one of the most amazing 'Playing for Change' cuts that I've heard. I still tear up a bit when I listen to this. Lotta' history for some of us.

I think Miss Young (on ukulele and vocals, Chicago, Ill.) has some of the most beautiful and intense energy in her voice and playing. She soars. I've said that before.

And the various choirs? Man.... fucking church for real.. Beauty and more beauty. We could use some more of that, I think.
