And a tune once sung on the side of the highways, about retrospection, now'days bringing a tear to the eye in appreciation of what has passed, is gone, was done once, and can't ever be re-done. The circle of life.

I fucking love Uriah Heep Moose.lots of older fucks I know don't know who they are.forget about people my age.Gypsy Queen blew me away 10 or 15 years ago.i will say my dad did introduce me to great music.or actually I think it was my uncle that played the album.being really high definitely helped.one of the things that really pisses me off is I'll never get to see so many awesome bands.i did see Black Sabbath though.i feel really lucky for that

Yep, that was an era, 'hawk, and music has changed in some ways. So has sound quality. But there's lots of amazing stuff out today, and some of it hardly known, not on the radio, etc.

It's like the micro-breweries, but musical. Little niches here and there, and some pretty cool stuff happening in corners around the world.

That 'Playing for Change' group/organization gives some hope to a sometimes dismal place, too. People coming together from ALL OVER THE WORLD, simply to dub tracks, essentially playing together from 3,000, 4,000, or 10,000 miles away from each other, making a joint effort to create something beautiful.

Santana has nearly always put on an amazing show; typically enjoying the gig at least as much as his fans. his shows often involve a vast array of percussion, horns, etc., and when I saw him he would finish a lengthy riff, take his journey in his mind, stop for a brief second, looking downward at his guitar, and grin, as if to say to himself, "Wow!! That was cool!!" The sheer enjoyment came out in his performance, and precision among his band members was nothing less than stellar.

When I go, and there's a celebration, the play list will include 'Samba Pa Ti' ('Samba For You')

Mining today has produced yet another gem!!

Of the various efforts by Stephen Stills, many forget the past albums put out by SS & Manassas.

A live version of his time-limited band, Manassas, 37" long!!! Incredible talent! And unique sound, too.
