.....well I'm a cannabis user since 1975.....started growing in 1978 in a field .......started smuggling in 1982...........went to jail for some Kashmiri hashish in 1985 and since have dedicated most of my life to getting more people to grow more weed.....while growing it myself wherever ....and when ever I can......

....maybe the Spanish will grant me a licence to grow seed crops this year?........we live and hope.......in the meantime I will carry on with my quest to inform, educate and supply those that wish to grow this much maligned and miss-understood plant.......with whatever they need to accomplish this......

....supplying an industry in prohibition...

Never been to Spain

Never been to Spain

Or even off the NA continent for that matter, Canada and border city Mexico are pretty much the extent of foreign travel. On the other hand I've seen over 2/3 of the US. I really enjoy the Western US. Lots of open space, and nice cruisin' highways.
Started smokin' in September of '74 after I got real curious about the funny smell comin' from a dorm room.
Life was never the same after that.

I guess I'm not quite old enough to be hanging with
you old folks ;) (32) but I was just brows'in this thread and
saw Gypsy's post and was wondering, out of curiosity ,if Gypsy
or anyone would mind filling me in on the whole MJ scene in
Spain. Please excuse my ignorance on the subject, but I've seen
a lot of references in different posts talking about Spain and getting licencsed. I've heard BOG mention it in a post also.
Was just curious and hoping someone could fill me in on this exodus to Spain and the scene there. TIA for any info. :D Jack.

born in 53, started smoking in 69. Was always too busy to grow and too paranoid. But the latest wife insisted because, as she asked, "Why would you pay for something that you can grow for free?"

Aren't the Chinese practical?

If she hadn't insisted on me planting that seed in the pot in the window that day, I wouldn't be here now.

For me, it did start with one seed.

Warmest Greetings to all: Also born in '53. I'm really enjoying reading all of your experiences and bios...some interesting folks here.

Do y'all remember lids and $150 mexican keys?

I am from lower Michigan, born in 62, and joined the Army in 1980. Apparently the Army likes to take people from cold climes and move them to hot climes, in my case Arizona Fort Huachuca or Fort we gotch or Fort huchie kuchie as we liked to call it. This made coming home to MI a bit uncomfortable to say the least.

I started smoking pot when I was 12 and it was Panama red $25 a lid! I started growing indoors 2 years ago and haven't looked back since. I no longer buy anybody elses herbs, recently I have purchased Bog Medley which I have high hopes for, no pun intended. I just do small scrog grows which is enough for me. I have seen very little that compares to my homegrown. I am to the point where I do not even want to smoke what my friends bring over with them, tastes like s*** to me. Well gota go for now.

Hi everyone!

Hi everyone!

48 yr old carpenter/contractor/business owner, wife of 26 yrs. kids 6 and 14. my 14 year old discovered my overgrow gallery and i've been catching shit ever since. but i think she's coming to understand that pot is good and government propaganda is bad. you know how teen agers are - it's tough. i'm an embarrassment to her in so many ways! hehe

so glad i discovered overgrow and now this site. i knew there wasn't anything wrong w/me. i just love the weed. been using since age 12, which i certainly wouldn't recommend to my kids but i hope they come to appreciate it. i think everyone will in the coming years thanks to the efforts of Gypsy, Bog, and the rest of us. i'm proud to have friends like all of you.

best regards

I guess an introduction is in order

I guess an introduction is in order

Well alrighty, then.

45, married, two kids. Never mind what kind of work I do (it's NOT law enforcement, tho.)

Been toking for (holy shit!) 30 years now. Quit in the early 90's, and stayed quit for more than 7 years.... mostly because I was the only one I knew that still smoked, I had no place even remotely safe to buy any, and my kids were getting too old for me to keep the outdoor garden private.

Now I got me a tight little workshop with all kinds of fun power tools and a couple of nice, closed-in spaces to raise my favorite plant.

Got my first mail order seeds from SD about a year ago, and I have been having a fucking BLAST ever since.

I love cannabis -- not just smoking it -- I love everything about it. I especially love growing it myself, something I have been doing with more or less success since about 1980. But man, when I quit in '93, there was NOTHING in the way of the resources we have now. Or if there was, I didn't know about it.

I'll never buy another bag again.

(Famous last words.... I am dry until my current crop is ready... in February)

62 Was a good year ffor Vettes and me too. Those of us born in the 60's tend to be a little weird just like the decade. I'm still in the sixties. You know get my hair cut every 10 or 12 years.I've been dabblin in gardening since I was fifteen. Seems my old man thought it was dumb to pay for something you could grow. We had a little table with pearlite, vermiculite and sand fed by bubbles running up a tube from the res. below the table. I got clones from a buddy named Indica Jim who had a sister in North. Cali. Still some of the best herb I'v e ever smoked. Now i just wont waste the money to make someone else rich.I'm better at this than at most everything else. Oh Well !.............. Lot of cool people here. Peace.

Hello to all. First things first. This is a great place to be.
I just celebrated my 48th birthday last month and it marked my 33rd year of enjoying nature's bounty. I was born in Madrid courtesy of the USAF. I grew up in the South Bronx, NY. It was and wasn't everything you may have heard. Been married once, been divorced once. I have a son that most can only hope and pray for. He will be graduating from Villanova next May and he is my BEST friend. We don't smoke together, but he knows I smoke and I know that he has smoked. I am attempting to start my first indoor grow, just germinating a few seeds now. I found this site yesterday after spending a good portion of the last two weeks discovering how many Internet sites were seriously devoted to marijauna cultivation and enjoyment. I like OG a lot, but what attracted me here was the fact that I saw people close to my own age.
Interestingly enough, most of the smoking buddies I have now are at least 10 to 15 years younger than I am. I sometimes feel like Papa Smurf when I am with them.
Glad to meet ya!

Tom and Stoner Girl, I like your family. :) We are friends now. I spoke with you on the phone Stoner Girl. Tom and I are brothers somehow. ;)

Didn't a great master say we were all brothers and sisters anyways? Or was it just that we should treat each other that way? No matter...

I was born in 54 and in my life aside from growing my own pot as a hobby there were several jobs. Stockboy, Delivery Van Driver, Semi Owner Operator Independent Interstate trucker, Advanced Paramedic, Mental Health worker and Naturopathic Therapist. Since then I became a Breeder of fine Cannabis seeds known as BOG Seeds.

I met my lady at age 15 and she was 15 too. We went to drivers education and high school together and were married at Graduation from High School. I want to college but never obtained a 4 year degree. My total education exceeds 5 years but in different areas including Business Admin and Political Science. Trucking taught me how much a man could miss home. Are you with StoneGirl now Tom? :D

I have a 29 year old son who is married with 2 children and they will move to Vancouver soon. I hope to open a BOG seeds coffeeshop there and have my son run it for me. It's just one days drive for me to go there so it seems the obvious choice given my circumstances. All BOG Seeds will be produced in Canada eventually.

My news is that Mrs. BOG is making BOG Seed Calendars in time for Christmas Presents and I have selected about 14 nice macros and budshots for her calendar so it should make a nice wall decoration. I am hoping to start raising money for "The Boglands of Vancouver". All my friends have made my company a success and with the help of my friends we will be successful in this dream.

Much love to all our friends. Tom, I feel I have known you before... How weird that our meeting in Vancouver has led me to this point. I see the sign. BOG

Hey folks!

Hey folks!

Born in '59, grew up in Montreal.
Started smoking Kashmir hash when I was 12 and have never looked back!
The good old days in Montreal held such delights as Nepalese Temple balls, Afghani Spagetti Sticks and Moondiscs, Thai stick and alot of other fine and exotic treats!
Left home at 15, worked my way out west, took work in Edmonton in the late 70's and then a year later, got my first taste of "VANSTERDAM! (1977)

The first few years here it was hard to shake the need for quality hashish, and we settled for Pakistani, a little Afghani (from the rebels) and a ton of Red Lebanese, Blond Lebanese, and Morrocan. (occasionally "Gold Seal" Morrocan)Then we got into the Gold and Red Columbian for a few years, as well as Cambodian, and some Thai and Budda sticks.
Since the early 90's I have had severe arthritis (Ankylosing Spondilitis) and now have Hep C as well. I now use cannabis medicinally, and grow a number of fine strains, including DP Mazar, NL #1, Ice Princess/Bubblegum, some Herijuana and crosses and some Grapefruit and crosses.
Earlier this year I started my own medical cannabis website, where I try to help as many folks in the worldwide medical cannabis community as I can, with a number of resources.
Joined ICMag a few months ago and have met some truly excellent folks here!
Nice to meet you ALL!

The thought of sharing a doob with you, talking "shop" and having a BOGland store within a short drive's distance is exciting!
Your reputation preceeds you, and those at the meduser.ca community definately love your input!
