before october in most cases, theres a few to choose from and a new auto hybrid too...

they were bred in denmark 55 lat so they are used to a harsh environment.

Nice price on the fbb, it's great stuff and the veggies n herb love it.
The bug spray is it for use on edible plants/crops? if it's not you might want to consider a different one.

yer the bug spray says you can harvest friut and veg the day after spraying! Wont be using it that late tho. Says not to use on young plants. question is how young is to young?

Il check wilkos if i cant find any locally as its a bit of a drive from me.

Got some pertile from wilkinsons, thanks.

Went to site 1 this morning and started work. Made a tunnel slowly through brambles to get to it. (alot of work clearing brambles). I dug 8 small holes. I know its alot for such a small area, but i figure 4 of them prob gona be male so can tie them down once the males are pulled. And i only had a hand trowel to dig (which bent on 2nd hole...and it wasnt even the cheapest one!) Sprinkle in some FBB and around area
to deter rabbits.

This scary looking bug was on my back pack when i went to take it off. It has a huge needle like a mosquito but fuzzy like a bee.

p.s is now i good time to start germiating, as i dont have enough room to do all my plants at once,

It`s around a month from germination on standard plants poss a bit earlier on some autos b4 they are ready to go outside . You can`t put them outside until all danger of frost has passed , that used to be end of may but it`s a bit earlier now . I have had plants out end of first week May especially if you have a sheltered spot but i usually go for mid month ,
When plants are around 3wk old harden them off by putting out during the day & then back under cover at night for a week or so , the plants need to be a decent size 12in + b4 hiding them in the bush so start germing anytime now during April . It`s not critical coz plants put out June & July will still come good just a bit smaller .

Sprinkle in some FBB and around area
to deter rabbits.

It wont .

Your pic of the bug is a bit shot but i think it`s a Macroglossum Stellatarum better known as a Humming Bird Hawk Moth , beautiful to see & becoming a bit more seen in the UK , continental visitors thanks to global warming & totally harmless , & unlike a lot of moths these feed during the daylight , the long probosis is a nectar feeding tube .
