When you say heatwave, I get it.

What is your daily base temps and humidity numbers anyway.

in the room? it was getting up to 90 lights on and down to 78 but it was getting up to 107 outside and the room is in an uninsulated south facing garage


but generally its in the low to mid 80's light on and upper 70's lights off,humidity varies with the weather,generally 30-50%...

i recently finished building out a new garden space featuring HLG 550 leds for lighting in an effort to keep the cooling bills down during the summer months and to allow me enough space to start popping seeds once free cooling season starts again in the fall.


the room is in my garage which of course gets hotter than satans junk in a fur g-string during the summer so a well insulated space is a must.


to start i built out some 2x4 framing mainly out of leftover lumber i had from previous builds.

week 8 for most of this round...some changes in lighting coming soon...at the very least a couple of hlg60's to supplement the hlg550's but hopefully a couple of mars sp3000 or one of their new lights...sort of a side by side..

but in general the hlg yields more in the end,but i think the mars lights produce a better quality bud

first step in the lighting upgrade done...just got two mars hydro sp3000 hung up,still need to add the hlg60 red/blue light to the mix...and i picked up a new power panel so everything will be on 240v soon...

hoping to get a mars hydro fc4800 then hang that in the center of the space with the sp3000 on either side...


and get a 4x4 tent for the hlg 550/60 combo...winter is coming!
