LOL yeah, the press conference was a trip!

My favorite part was when GSP was like "yeah i dont remember saying all that stuff in the promo" lol straight put them on blast for making it all up.

Anyways the fight itself may be a bit frustrating to watch, tough to see a guy willing to throw be neutralized by a gameplanner. I am really hoping GSP tries to smother Diaz after realizing the standup is somewhat even on the scorecards and then gets caught in a sub.

I also would LOVE to see Diaz surprise everyone and kinda gameplan gsp even if it would make for a less exciting fight. He is totally capable of outstriking gsp from a score perspective if not actual damage, and if he backs away a bit instead of recklessly engaging, he can avoid the takedowns and keep the scoredcard close. Easier said than done and all, but I don't see many other viable paths to victory.

My Predictions:

GSP wins via descion. Im a BIG GSP fan but i got a feeling he is gonna play it safe with Diaz and just try to grind it out and win by points like Condit when he fought Diaz.


Condit tears thru Hendricks, beats him down bad. Well at least thats what I hope. Hendricks is a one trick pony in my book, a Ronda Rousey who uses his "H-bomb" like she uses her arm bar.


Ellenberger destroys Nate M. I dont think Nate has it anymore, hes getting older and more beat down every time i see him...

Hendricks is a multi time national wrestling champ so to say he is a one trick pony is far from correct. That's like saying chuck Liddell was a one trick pony, a total insult and wrong by a long shot. It's going to be a good card for a weight class I'm not really that into.

it goes the same for big country who i love. they may both have the tools in the toolbox but if your only using a hammer for every job, its just not as efficent. i know he can wrestle but you really dont get to see that from him very often.

Whatever happens it should be fun. Got a feeling GSP's blueprint might be the Bendo vs nate fight. I hope Diaz at least catches him a few times to make it interesting.
