dont get me wrong..........I would love to see an upset and Bonner is a great fighter who is easy to like. that being said I just feel he is overmatched and if the spyder's head is in the fight......Bonner will lose.

LOL yeah, very likely. Looks like he's taking the opportunity very seriously at the same time.

Silva all day, of course, but I wouldn't be shocked to see a crazy upset. Silva isn't getting any younger and I think this fight is really a test to see how he handles a bigger man in preparation for a fight with Jon Jones.

Dana White has been blowing up twitter about it the past couple days and insists he's going to make it happen.

I totally agree......plus Bonner can take punishment before he'll get finished. Its all about Silvas mindset.......if he takes it serioulsly he will destroy Bonner.

And take anything Dana White says and just forget it.....hes just trying to fill the pay-per-view slots. Thats how he gets paid.

I predict it to go very late or even to decision.......but SILVA is my pick no matter how it goes.

If he was 10 years younger he would win this fight. Still i give him a 50/50 shot.

Agreed. Good card! Any time Silva fights, it's a pleasure to watch an artist. Also, Nogueira-Herman should be a war.

I am looking forward to this fight too.

Although, it reminds me a little bit of the Griffin vs Silva, which turned out to be a farce...

I remember Griffin saying 'One thing that i guarantee, is that I WILL NOT QUIT', and after a short jab...... HE QUIT. And embarrassingly scurried into the locker rooms before the winner was announced. lol

Anyway, i like Bonnar better than Griffin. Hopefully it is competitive.
(He looks like he has been living in a solarium, hopefully that isn't what he considers training. )

(What has happened to Dana White? It looks like he is going for the 'tough guy' look and persona over the last few years? Makes me chuckle.)

If it was 10 yrs ago........Bonner would be doing is day job and Silva would still be a champion in the making.

Bonner came along waaaaaaaay too late to become an impact on the top level.

And in reference to griffin.......he looked all chiseled and ready when he went up against Silva....it was a joke. And While I feel Bonner now is a better fighter tha Griffin was when he took on Silva......they are both far from Silvas pedigree.

The only thing that will change the outcome is if Silva's head is in the game. He has had issues with focusing on fights for various reasons in the past whether it personal or profesional. But if hes sharp and smelling blood.............he is victorious.
