Since then, Trump & our GOP congress have passed tax cuts for the rich that will increase the deficit by at least $1.5T over 10 years. The govt will borrow that money from the Rich to give it to them as tax cuts. Looks like a win-win to me but not for the little guy, of course. There are persons in here who have made very calm and non-partisan statements who've been lambasted and called names.

If we want to convince passers-by that adult pot smokers are essentially still in the 2nd grade, emotionally/developmentally, then we're doing a good job of that.

It's the narrowness, dishonesty, corruption, and more, that led me to ceasing 99% of political activism a couple years ago.

And to think that our nation, in a country with this type of discourse, has the greatest stockpile of nukes in the world.

My understanding from revelations over the last number of years, I had found folks reporting that during the peak of the Cold War, Russia was financially bankrupt, and they were literally making mock/dummy missiles out of wood/plywood, and mounting them on trucks (meant to resemble mobile ICBMs) for our satellites to see.

I don't know what they have now, but from previous experience, I've found that at ANY time, aside from real do-or-die crises, bluffing that you have a weapon or weapons you don't actually have, can end very poorly.
