That meme substantially mis-states reality.

Israel doesn't give their people free health care - they have compulsory health insurance required, and 25% of their healthcare costs are still paid out of pocket. They also don't have free 4-year university education. They have a tuition of $2,890/year. When I went to college, yearly tuition in the California State University system was $236. Adjusted for inflation, that would now be $1,011/year. Funny how when you pay professors 6-figure salaries for teaching a couple of classes a semester it drives the cost of education up...

https://www.haaretz.com/.premium-israelis-pay-25-of-their-health-costs-1.5293269

https://www.haaretz.com/jewish/.premium-higher-education-in-israel-at-a-low-price-1.5285851

If the USA had not wasted 7 Trillion dollars on wars in the middle-east supporting Israeli expansion ideas (and Israeli aid), and instead spent that HUGE amount of money on USA infrastructure/education and helping the American people within the USA, things would be looking much brighter.....for the whole world right now...

I could never figure out the HRC Monster thing. She wasn't my first choice. The big drama about the mail server. What the hell? They just found the president using burner phones. It all seemed very contrived and manipulated hearing different people repeating the same anti chorus word for word. The same songs are still sung in this thread. Compared to the current problems she was pure as the driven snow.

That was my analogy Jelly. IMO she is corrupt. Obama said the same thing when many voted for him over her. They didn't forget. Did she change from the person Obama said she was?

So the choice was Hillary (corruption validated by our current president's words and past events) or Trump (someone completely different and an unknown).

I get many people aren't happy. It isn't going to last forever. Trump won't be president forever. Why burn bridges with family, friends and neighbors. Find ways to work together without needing the Trump side to regret their vote. They are not going to do it.

All these threads are aimed at that very strategy. Make the people that voted for Trump regret their vote and demand he be impeached.

We need some threads that get people to come together over issues. Not just bicker with each other.

I thought way back you wanted Bernie? I voted for Bernie. Bernie got ripped off by Hillary and the DNC . You should be hating on Hillary too. You younger people should be regrouping and find another person to do the things you wanted from Bernie. I voted for Bernie because I think the future should be set up for the younger people the way they want it. You guys wanted Bernie so I voted for him.

What else should I do?

Good post iTarzan,
I don't thoroughly agree with all of your points, but the overall well said.

A times comes when you have to call a spade a spade, whether your brother or best friend if betrayal is their agenda,,,toss them from your life. Trump is and always has been a POS human being, it didn't just start,,he was raised that way by his father. I've followed Trump's path of self indulgence for decades, and it continues today with his Presidency.

It's not Trump that bothers me, it's his words and actions. He batters the weak, insults the minority, shits on our allies, pisses on his own wife. He has no integrity, no character of value, his word is worthless. I don't expect his base to admit fault or come clean with the mistake, but it's time to put an end to this abuse of office and power. Time to stand up and defend whats ours, time to show the world what a democracy does when their leader is a fraud and tyrant....impeach his azz, then put him and his crooked family in prison.

Words matter, our allies deserve loyalty, our country deserves better.

How do you know what these threads are aimed at, strategy-wise? Tudo posted a news story. People started giving their opinions about it and it got kind of heated. That's it.

You sound really paranoid and cornered when you say that this thread is designed to "Make the people that voted for Trump regret their vote and demand he be impeached."

Seriously man, are in in a bunker somewhere?

p.s.- Who says I don't hate Hillary? But I don't think of her as Hildebeast and Killary and all that crazy shit. And I believe she would have been better for America than current potus, yes I said that shit! :)

"You guys wanted Bernie so I voted for him."- What are you talking about and who is You guys?

"What else should I do?"- Quit expecting everybody to be singing Kum-Bay-Yah around the Trump tree. Ain't happening, he's pissing too many people off.

Jelly this thread was a gloat. Tudo was gloating because he thought Trump failed. Tudo knows what it was. I said it in this thread. He hasn't disputed it. He doesn't have to either. It was looking like a good shot at Trump and his supporters. It didn't stay that way though. It was like when I predict a Colts win or talk them up and then they failed against the Patriots or Steelers. Those fans would jump on me and I know I have it coming. I know there will be another game and another time. There will be another opportunity for Tudo but this isn't a game. So maybe pass on taking it and do something different.

The pre-election thread where you hung out and first got mad a me mentioning Trump. Half of you guys were for Bernie and the others Trump. Why do I remember that thread and you don't? You guys were mostly a younger (less than 40) crowd and were passionate about Bernie.

I didn't vote for Trump. I am not paranoid about anything. I don't live in a bunker guy. Why go there? I think you are just another guy in the states like me.

Why would anything I said make you think I am paranoid. I am calling it as I see it. I didn't vote for Trump. I am glad he beat Hillary though. What would I be paranoid about? These threads are not something to be paranoid about. WTH!

You don't like me insinuating Hillary is a beast but you do love all the names you and others call Trump. Come on man!

I really don't think badly of you. We never got into it on anything else. You don't tolerate me at all now. My only option was to remain silent on all the threads about Trump. I tried. Then some of the major players in the political debates kept interjecting anti Trump stuff in other threads. If I said something back it was met with negative reps.

I wasn't going to vote Jelly. I voted for Bernie because I read what YOU GUYS were saying. I never voted before Obama and I was going back to my old way of not voting.

I am/was a peace loving, pot smoking hippy who doesn't trust the government. I thought voting was useless. They never do what they said they will. Why bother. I came out of my pot cave and I voted for Obama twice because he was going to be different. He wasn't. He didn't do what he promised. The first time I figured he had to get things set up for himself. Too many people fought him first term. So I gave him my vote for a second. I pledged to never vote again.

Then YOU GUYS won me over Jelly and I voted for Bernie. Then the DNC and Hilldabeast ripped him off. I am angry at the DNC and Clintons. If I was going to waste time complaining and being angry I would project my anger at my fellow democrats that voted for Hillary.

Instead I am giving Trump a fair shake, hope he is successful and does MAGA. I will never root for the POTUS to fail. Which is what this thread was meant to do.

What is it that Kim Jong Un wants from Trump?

Time to grow up and get some big boy toys?
Maybe a couple overpriced waterfront properties that were bought previously on a speculative wim of an old friend? A couple slightly used porn stars with a side of bunnies? A super yacht and a pimped out old airliner? Big pimpin in an old liner gives serious street cred and chicks dig it.

I too at first demanded of myself to give Trump a chance, see if he could do half of what he claimed on the campaign trail...but then the Old Donald showed his ugly head.

Healthcare for the poor
Discrimination
No Infrastructure plan
Tax plan for the rich
Immigration
Tariffs against allies

That's pretending Stormy, Russia, Jared, Twitter, and Comey don't exist...all in 16 months.

Yep, he's an asshole,,,but he's our asshole.

That's cool, iTarzan, that's a good attitude. I'm not rooting for him to fail, but I'm almost sure he's going to, and already has by most standards.

I'm disappointed with the election, sure. I guess I blame Hillary for Bernie not getting the nomination, but I blame the American people AND the US political system for anybody but trump getting elected.

It's true, people are really trashing the people who took a chance on Trump for their own legitimate reasons.

Yeah, I don't know why the mods are letting threads like this go on and on like this. Higher ratings, maybe.

iTARZAN,

Regardless of my obvious strong disapproval of Trump, i had to put my mind in the state of 'give him a chance' once he was elected aswell.

My girlfriend is American and half of her family voted for Hillary and half voted for Trump.... even though i couldn't believe it myself that so many people saw something they liked, i had to hope for some kind of miracle that he could be a better man and do some good...

I don't hope for him to fail, well, i don't hope for America to fail but the more and more i see- Donald Trump 'succeeding' IS America failing.

My mindset of giving him a chance, in hope, was depressingly muffled when he was bragging/lying about his inauguration crowd size to the CIA..... i mean, come on.....

It does all seem surreal. I can't pretend to explain 10% of what he does. I can wait 2 more years for the revolution if Trump fucks everything up.

If you don't trust the government, why would you vote for someone who wants government to be bigger and control more of your life?

Lots of material for a list about Trump.

Couple bigger ones to add would be the multiple allegations of sex assault of some form.

Us paying for him to campaign almost from day one and often, all the extra cost involved with that.

Refusing to provide his taxes, which will show Russian investments and loans.
