I couldn't watch it..
I was at an old friends who was watching. Telling me I should watch it, it's good. As I turn to see two blokes bumming on TV. I thought it was unfortunate timing, but glanced back from behind the sofa every 5 minutes, and it was just constant.
I know other closets that watch it, but this friend was always damn straight.
I did a bit more reading, and it pretty much confirms it. Straight guys can find violence to watch elsewhere, without having to watch extended scenes, that do nothing for the story. He must like that, and worse, he thinks I would.
I hope you didn't think that it was an Australian documentary.

He was overly homophobic 2 years ago. Like putting it on at every opportunity, as people in denial sometimes do. This Oz thing isn't what alerted me, but was stand alone hard evidence.

As a timeline, he started as ridiculously homophobic, about his gay friends. To knowing too much about their habits, and just calling them poofs. To having them round a few times a week, and loosing interest in women. Before turning to gay porn, and not even turning it off when people visit.

Personally I have plenty of things to do with people that have fuck all to do with fucking.
I have a personal aversion with folks watching true crime TV when I want to be having a good time... I have said as much to friends watching documentaries on family members killing each other or babies getting slaughtered...
But that stuff exists for a reason and we don't have to watch it... it's cool to see that you have been honest with your limits.
I think it's worth talking to your friend mate. Don't suffer witnessing wang that you never wanted, but be ready to not get back there soon if you find out that is supposed to be a sausage party...
Just get all the cards on the table and then everything else should sort itself out if you are truly friends.

Why isn't Moldova kicking out the russians from the annexed transnistria region of it's kingdom?
russian backing helped the breakaway in 2012, but russia isn't getting there now. They are cut off from russia, on a thin strip of land between the held territories, and the Ukraine. A country with no issues over starting a war with russia. They already have one.
It should be obvious that russias objectives involve a land bridge to transnistria. They almost got there. I'm not sure by what measure of idiocy we could fail to see this objective. It is right now that Moldova needs to turf the russians out, while the russian hold there is at it's weakest ever. As it was nearly at it's strongest ever. A major goal of the russian invasion. One Moldova need to take away from them.
It's insane to not sort it out, right now.

With my phone 3 foot from my extractor, and 3 foot from my timer, the joint loudest thing it can hear, is 100hz from my central heating. It can hear the timer, but fan noise is really loudest. Not on any specific frequency, but it's spread over the 1khz - 3khz band. Nothing in the bass region though. I have rested the phone on my fan frame, and still no bass registers. Though I can put my ear to it and there is a little. Swamped out by the heating, when it's running.
I'm about to make an mdf cover. This sort of noise doesn't carry the energy to get through decent cardboard. It's a bit like the red light blue light thing. The 100hz of the pump travels through the building (it's a bit old and noisy) but the air noise is like our red light, and carries less energy.
I'm now at the point where the stretched out foil duct, is ruffling due to the air speed through it. We know it does this, but it's rare such a noise starts to be the loudest in the room.
I do like making things quiet. It's very difficult to quantify my efforts though. Low enough that my central heating and timer can be heard though. Over a dozen or more fans.
My loudest fan is my latest 'de-stratification' effort. Where I run air from top to bottom of my tent, using an external length of rain gutter downpipe. Or should I say, the pipe organ.

The robins are back. I saw my first pair flitting around about 5 days ago, now I am seeing them all over. Only a month and a half early . . .
