It doesn't bug me too badly when they open for 3-6 hours during the AM on Thanksgiving, etc.grocery stores here open a half-day, i think. last year, i made three runs for shit we forgot...place was full of desperate men...
Christmas shouldn't even be that long, but maybe for a couple hours mid-morning, perhaps..
But a WHOLE fucking day?? On one of the most family-oriented holidays in the Country??!! While claiming to be all about this value or that value (i.e. family values)?
The folks who tend to work such jobs often do so for questionably lower wages much of the time. Family is important in times of need.
