While I agree with you, you underestimate regulations...... I bet a ton of California pot growers said the same thing when legalization came. "Good luck keeping me from growing". As 80% of growers are now second guessing this attitude.

I had a cannabis activist in my county that kept saying the market is the market, regulations do not effect the market........ Wow, what ignorance. (talking about cannabis)

I heard about California having new water restriction laws.

I wonder if they will use that to restrict Cannabis growing.

I have a hard time imagining California as being anything but a place where it's legal to grow Cannabis.

The water restrictions aren't new, they were lifted a couple years ago when we had an abnormally wet year. They are back with a vengeance. California had a plan to deal with water back in the 50's, it accounted for population growth. Unfortunately environmentalists groups have prevented the building of new reservoirs from being built. Billions of gallons of water that would have prevented the drought are allowed to flow out into the Pacific, to preserve the delta smelt. The delta smelt hasn't been found in a few years, but we still allow the water to be wasted. Many nut orchards have been effectively killed off by water restrictions. The central valley which is a major producer of the nation's food are on the chopping block now. I am all for preserving the environment, but we are going to cut the nation's food supply drastically. This will undoubtedly harm the poor, with drastic increases in food cost. It's insane the policies the California government has pushed.

The government has restricted cannabis growing. Under prop 64 you can only grow 6 plants. Under medical you could get a rec that allowed 99 plants. Some growers were having to trick in water, due to wells going dry in recent years.

There is a good documentary about California water shortages called Parched.

The diet seems crazy, but it seems to be working wonders for both of them. I have been reading his book. I will try to read maps of meaning when I finish the 3 books I have stacked on my nightstand.

I think the tour with Rubin is mellowing him out some. I wonder if he will go back to teaching. I was surprised he has used psylicibin.

I am excited about the online university he's working on. It could change higher education as we know it.

Hearing your son has autism got me interested, as I've heard that Ketogenic diets and Paleo can help with autism, and so it seems does the Carnivore diet. It seems to have completely reversed the auto-immune diseases of Jordan Peterson and his daughter. Autism seems to have links to autoimmune disease and inflamation, both of which Keto, Paleo and Carnivore diets can clear up, or at least help with. Diet is huge. I've worn reading glasses for years, but after a couple of months of no processed carbs, more healthy fats and intermittent fasting, I no longer need them. Since autism has no known cure, it would sure be an interesting experiment to try Keto, Paleo or Carnavore, but my guess is that you'd have to be strict and that could be difficult. Lots of testimonials on the net of families that have done it though.
Luck.

I saw mikhalia Peterson on Rogan, beef and salt seems extreme, but it seems to be working for her and her dad. I am just starting to learn about these diets. I have a cousin with cerebral palsy, hes doing the ketogenic diet. It should be a no brainer that diet makes a huge difference. I know autism causes inflammation of the white matt4r of the brain. It seems that inflammation is the underlying cause of many health problems.

With autism, I know that glyphosate wreaks havoc on them. Glyphosate is is in most foods. I am working on eliminating what I can. Unfortunately, autistic kids are notoriously picky eaters. Most autism parents will tell you chicken nuggets and pizza are a go to. Probably the worst possible choice, but it's hard we are trained to want our children to eat. Even if it's not the best choice.

I think you meant to say the left. It's an outrage that the bike lock boy got no jail time. Unfortunately this attack was in California, where straws are concidered more dangerous than ms-13.

A Republican candidate was stabbed near San Francisco, for the crime of being a Republican. The Rhetoric on the left is leading to real world violence. This is very bad for the nation. And of course you won't hear about it on the nightly news.

I meant right. Mikell ask who does the left have to rival Jones. Implying the left has nothing as bad as Jones. I ask who the right has to rival Clanton. The answer is nobody.

I can't believe he only got 3 years probation. Hopefully Karma will have the last word.

since we've cycled back to the political theme
interestingly the 'traitor'(my words) has receded into the storm
hasn't been outed, but we can be assured the search goes on
will anyone care in another month?
and now we're preparing for a hurricane, a sign from god obviously

The whole garbage about being the greatest nation in the world, for all countries, the desire to be the greatest country or recognized as the greatest country is a way of thinking that has to change in the end.

Every country should strive to be the best country they can but to try to be the greatest is a petty way to be.

A more appropriate graphic would show our countries wealth increasing since 1970, as wages have gone down.
With republican cheering all the way, up or down depending on one's perspective.

You think overall wages have gone down since the 1970's? Really? Where are you getting those numbers?

Wages and cost of living go together. Measuring wages by themselves means nothing. Cost of living has gone up considerably more than wages. It is next to impossible for a single person to live a decent quality of life and keep bills paid at most 40hr jobs. The replaced being self reliant witha need for credit and a low monthly payment. Most people are moving backwards financially and lucky for them the have enough artificial food, fox news and trump to keep them fooled and racing to the bottom.
