One of our female politicians recently decided to have her blood checked for chemicals, she had never drank, smoked and pretty much lived her life in what she considered healthy choices. She was rather taken back by the considerable exposure to chemicals that showed up in her bloodwork. She shared some of the results to the public.

Oh, I do not doubt it.
Over the last year I have eaten nothing pre processed and have made very intentional
choices with what I put into my body. I know I have less toxins now than in prior years.
I think in this day and age, it is impossible to avoid all.
Water, air, soil etc... is riddled with toxic shit and we'll never know all that's present.

Only recently did I begin smoking cigs again and I am kicking my arse for it.
Get as clean of a diet as I'm able then add carcinogens. Doh!
I've quit cold turkey before 2x's for many, many years each time.
I will do so again, because I know I can, sigh.

Ain't that a fact, chemicals everywhere and the powers that be don't seem to care much.

I'm glad I quit smoking when I did. My grandfather smoked from early morning till late in the evening, almost one after the other and never in his years did he exhibit any negative effects. But others have smoked far less and had serious consequences.

One day it will all fall into place for you, well, it's suppose to.

Every time I let my puppies out for the night, they bring something new home. Lately been squirrels which I do not mind. Hopefully the ones that have been sitting on the fence teasing them all day when they have been locked in the back yard.
Send them my way lol
They could take care of those bastid creatures that are tearing up my new
Tulip beds! My pup is too old, slow and has no teeth. They tease her relentlessly
and she has no defense! I personally have been considering a sling shot.
Destructive critters, ugg.

I do have something on my list that I am truly trying to tackle. Sugar.
I know it is bad for ya. Really nothing beneficial about it that I see.
But organic unrefined brown in my coffee. Quite the addiction, sigh.
First day today of no sugar in my java. Cookies after supper? We C ..
Took me nearly 2 years to finally kick the sugar.
Do not crave it any longer, thankfully.

There is a quote that I'll paraphrase:
It matters not the addiction,
Whether it be Jack Daniels or Jack in the Box,
The brain chemicals are the same.

With the information I have currently, I think
that sugars, esp. refined sugars are the most
toxic and addicting substance on earth.

I am most definitely a sugar addict so abstinence
is my best route to not become addicted again.

Best to you, it is a struggle indeed.

Wish I still had my Phototron. (and pics of it) I put a 150w hps in mine. Those U type grow bulbs were hard to find, cheep. Maybe got an OZ growing in it.... Had to water every day without fail or the plant would die.

Did you find the sides that come with it?

Had to add. I found mine by the curb on big trash day......

The reflective sides were inside the unit.
It had no bulbs.
I remember a friend having one in the late 70's.
The company had a scheme going where you had to send a sample of the growing medium and they would send you back a pack of fertilizer for flowering, for a fee of course.
I don't remember he being very successful with it.
