i agree. It’s saying something when one admits their mistakes rather than hide them like my doc did…

To my knowledge not a single person has ever choked to death from swallowing their pride

Can the doctors get sued for malpractice in UK?
Maybe not, that’s why he owned it. I’m sure I could have sued my doc for the wrong kidney operation. Would have been happy if he owned it too instead of sweeping it under the rug saying i needed work in the other side too…☹️ even tho i was in there for the left kidney. In the submarine world we would have had a big critique for a mistake like that and a lessons learned party with not only the folks involved but everyone to try and alleviate it from happening again.

  • Calcarea Fluorica is used for the treatment of varicose veins, issues associated with piles and for the corrected of blurred vision. It.
  • I'm sorry to read your yorky is sick/feeling bad. I had a basset hound (Maggie) that slowly went blind.
  • It happened pretty quick after we noticed her eyes gettin hazey looking. Took her to the vet for tests. the vet said testing showed her left eye was totally blind/not working, and injected something in eye to alleviate pressure causing her pain.
  • Long story short, I came across a article on IC MAG from a "yester year" thread that discussed how a old time vet was tasked with healing some royalties dog going blind. He accomplished this by first treating with CALC FLUORICA, and then using eye drops made from the "first" washing of cannabis extraction. I did'nt know how or what that meant but I looked up calc flourica and to my amazement it is a thing thats still made/sold.
  • So I purchased to try on Maggie. To my amazement the tiny pills cleared her remaining eye up. No more cloudy look!
  • If I missed putting in her food a couple times, her eye would start to look cloudy again. But would still clear back up!
  • She eventually went totally blind for the last 3 years of her life. Amazing how they can learn to deal with that! (no choice) But these pills extended her vision I'm positive of that/proofs in the pudding!
  • Never found out what "first wash" cannabis was but if I had to do with another dog, I would research how they made cannabis into medical formulas at the turn of the century to know how to make "first wash"
  • These pills are harmless, humans can take too. Its worth trying if your pet is getting cloudy look to their eyes.
Thank you very much for this. 🥰

For what it's worth, you don't necessarily need to get into it that deep in order to achieve restorative effects. What prompts me to say that is a story I recall seeing on YouTube a while back. I don't know the guy's name who the story belongs to nor was I able to locate it again to post it here for you. Basically the person who this story was about was in really bad shape, overweight, unable to walk or do much exercise to lose weight. Anyway some how he crossed paths with a former wrestler who went by the name of Diamond Dallas Page, who aside from wrestling is also a Yoga Instructor. Now I don't know Diamond Dallas Page's credentials as a Yoga instructor so it's possible in his resume he picked up his yoga training on a deeper more mystical level? Anyway if I remember correctly his contact with the guy who the story was about was all done online, at least at first and he encouraged the guy to do Yoga to improve his health and his situation. I believe Page sent him some instruction on Yoga moves/exercises and gave him advise online. From that the guy decided to give it a try. Due to his condition he really struggled with it at first but he stuck with it. Over time he lost the excess weight, regained his mobility to where he could start walking again and in the end he was able to do all sorts of things he couldn't before. Including being able to stand on his head for extended periods. Something he would never have been able to do before. The video showed the guy's transformation and if it was true the transformation was pretty amazing. Definitely what one might call restorative and from what I recall it didn't involve going to an ashram or anything too mystical although I can't rule out that he might have left some details like that out of the video. Near as I can recall everything was accomplished thru his determination in doing the exercises and whatever inspiration/motivation he got from Diamond Dallas Page.
Sometimes I have a hard time articulating myself, especially if I am over tired(fatigued) or having a hard time keeping my pain levels down.

I did not mean to suggest to practice restorative yoga I would need training at an ashram, in that particular statement I was saying to GW that my daughter-in-law was more inclined to the spiritual aspect of yoga an had attended an ashram in India for training. She has been practicing yoga for many years in ways that do not interest me but because of her knowledge she suggested I should check out restorative yoga in that it might help temper some of the conditions associated with aging and my chronic health issues. There is no amount of yoga or training that would heal the arthritis(cervical spondylosis), a shifted spine, the missing discs, sciatica nerve pain and degenerative bone disease across my shoulders. I also have 2 lung diseases which can make it very difficult to be in certain positions that would push on the lungs. Doing exercise routines while a good thing could also on the same hand cause further damage that I don't even want to imagine.

The restorative yoga is to help old people and people with chronic health conditions who are incapable of a regular exercise routine. Mostly through additional body support and slower more extended stretches.

There is another yoga called rejuvenating.

I did go the to Diamond Dallas webpage/wikipedia, I seen the man standing on his head that you spoke of.

restorative yoga is also good for relaxation not just for folks that can’t get around. I’ve done yoga and meditation for years off and on and find that I’ve needed different yoga and meditation these days although I can still stand on my head for some reason, the rest of me like the knees and shoulders don’t allow me to do what I usetacould 😊

Morning Sub, that's the part that's important, finding an exercise that is good for the body/mind and not damaging to it.
Like yourself I have practiced yoga exercises off and on for some time. Meditation is good for pain control, both mental and physical. When I had to attend the pain clinic, meditation was talked about frequently. I was forced to go to the pain clinic by my doc, if I wanted to continue to receive morphine. Mostly what I took from the 16hours of pain management classes I already knew because the pain I have started 50 years ago. I learnt much on my own about pain control over that time. However, what really helped me was listening to the stories of the 30 pain people/plus spouses and their experiences. It made me feel normal; knowing these people who had chronic pain for many different reasons shared one thing in common, we all experienced the same outcome associated with chronic pain. That's what really helped me, I didn't feel like some kind of society outcast because of my disabilities.

OK, I'll change the poster for the rodeo, you can roll the joint standing on your head, one handed, while riding bareback.
You will have to forget the cute hat.

I'm pretty sure that they all have their fuck-ups - failures and malpractices - due to human error 🤔 - since us humans all seem to fuck-up at some time or other - no matter what profession we are in - or whatever we do -

At least this surgeon came to me and admitted his error - and is gonna try and make it good ASAP 👍 - so 🤷 I'm one to want to forgive and forget - ONCE ITS SORTED - and I'm hoping 🙏 and praying it's tomorrow -
Sounds like you have a good attitude about the debacle and will be able to move on. I dislike being mired down in my own mud making, you know wallowing in the mud.
Good morning to you Gypsy.

Can the doctors get sued for malpractice in UK?
In Canada they can be sued for medical malpractice but the doctors are covered under Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) the organization goes to great lengths to protect doctors from wrong doing.
CMPA is funded by the Canadian public with assets in the $6 billion dollar range.
If your going to take them to court you "better be ready".

Oh - I had so much grief with lawyers and the whole legal system in the Philippines 🇵🇭 and in the UK when the USA decided to issue an indictment against me in 2013 for distribution of seeds - it took 5 years of my life away from me and my family - half of that behind bars without trial or conviction - and cost me my savings spent on lawyers to prevent extradition - and empty promises to free me and the loss of my seed business - so I'm forever in trepidation of going to court again over anything - and was happy with an apology from the surgeon - and his promise to rectify the problem soon 😀 - so I'll not subject myself to the legal system again if I can help it -
