Of all the cars I've owned that is the one I seem to dream of most often. The only car I've had hitchhikers ask to get out of in the middle of nowhere. LMAO.

The same politically created conundrum is occurring here in the USA.
I live in a 'sanctuary' city and have one home approx. 2 blocks SW and
one, 2 blocks E that houses refugee families.
I've only once seen an adult male present.
These are women with oodles of young children.
They look, dress and speak differently than I. They all are clean,
keep their children clean as well as their yards. Both families have
lived here for a few years now and I've never seen police presence
or any negative type behavior. Mostly they all keep to themselves.
Because the pup and I are out walking most days, and... I will talk/
interact w/ anyone who is willing... I've had opportunity to communicate
as best as we are able, with the women and children.
I harbor no ill will towards any of these folks who are only seeking
safety and an opportunity for a 'better' life.
As humans, we all seek similar and it is not my place nor my
inclinations to 'blame' them for their situations.
They are in essence, prisoners of political policies/ mismanagement
etc., in their own countries.
My experiences of course do no reflect what others may experience.
I hold the political powers accountable, not the people caught
in the crossfires.
I suppose though, what draws my ire is, that here in the US
we are not even taking care of our own peoples who need the
same safety, security, etc. People here are starving and the
children are most negatively impacted.
Folks come in from different Countries and are automatically
given free resources, shelter, food, clothing etc., while our own
homeless do not have that automatic availability of the same
resources and continue to suffer.
This is not a new situation, it is most likely an issue as old
as human existence... it has only been compounded by
more of us inhabiting this big blue ball and the PTB
only striving for power and profit over the people.
Of course, this is just a simplified summation of horrendous
situations whereas humans are used as we always have
been for political fodder.
BTW... Happy 420 all you stoners and headies.

Just as well as turn lanes are where you ease over and slow down.
It would also be grand if they flipped on their freaking turn signal also.
It is improper usage of that steel cage to simply stop in the driving lane,
and only then, get into the turn lane. smh
Some folks need to go back to driving school or gain some common sense.
Good thing I am a defensive driver who's head is on a constant swivel
knowing that these idiots are very large in numbers and I gotta watch
out for them at ALL times.

Yup defensive driving is a must in this city. People drive crazy here. I just try and stay out of their way.
I should think that an “ice water” enema would make your butt cheeks clinch tighter than a jewish girl on her wedding night.

me arse is numb from sitting in this chair + the frost has melted and is now drying...
So, it's off for a walk for us old gals, then....
