An MTB thread.

I used to BMX as a kid (epic motocross trail behind my house growing up) but after freshman yr at college I got into MTBing. Got a Specialized Hardrock. Love that bike; gave it to a kid.
I got a Cake 4 DLX. going to have it shipped here from NY.
Have a FUBAR back and havent ridden in 8 yrs. Now I have access to JTRipper so I am gong to try and ride again

Anyone ever ridden Capital Forest? I've been told by 2 people that I should carry a gun when entering - big animals and some evil peeps. True?

BTW, I went online and the trails look perfect - excellent flow. (I'll take a knife)

I used to ride more when I was younger but all the busted up body parts are catching up to me I think. Now I am down to two bikes (old Titus hardtail, and a Gary Fisher). I just ride around the city for exercise.

Gary Fishers are phenomenal.
