Alots has always been going on in my life away from cannabis.

Medicine to me isn't a substance but a lifestyle or way of life.

I figured I would start a new thread to give a bit more intimate view of what's going on in my universe

I've grown this mapacho, for quite some time now. Not only is strong tobacco a great smudge, companion plant plus bees love it as a years end flower and is great for ceremonial use. We can get to that later....

I was gifted these seeds back around 2011. And have been making seeds ever since. Gifting seeds to anyone who wants them.

I poached 3 of my cattle panels from the greenhouse and converted them into a future pepper, tomatoe and cucumber trellis.

This will be the first year we are planning to do 1/3 to half of the veggies garden

Crucial to use cloth to keep them humid, protect them from the sun and keep em warm at night for the first week or 2

What's in your diet? The wife and I eat tons of sprouts and micro greens as our salads. Taking control of the supply chain like anything g in life is key to health and independence.

Wheatgrass juice isn't just medicine for humans.

Pets also love it for digestion and ambiance

Revegging is far from exclusive to cannabis.

The wife and I regrow all your green onions, scallions / chives

There's many more fresh veggies you can get perpetual crops from as well

Not sure where to start. Spent most the last week. Talking 10 to 12 hour days with I door gardening during the high noon outdoor garden siesta.

Crazy how much time you can spend doing permacutlure in a Rain forest.

Not many pics from day 1 buy got a wack of cardboard , maple leaf and fish compost down (grass took over last year) so trying again with layering this time

Day 2 took care of the raspberry beds.
Scraped the grass, thru down more maple leafs. Then fish compost. Then some exotic straw / hebrew hay (dead grass) as a topper

The wife won't come down if it isn't "nice looking" so basically I'm between layering bed building for future nutrition

Making bare foot friends and labor ready cart and foot paths.

Prepping irrigation for our larger production of peppers, cucumbers and tomatoes. Which we love and most everyone at the farmers markets

May seem trivial bit on a terraced Inka garden you have to be smart about where to work out from and what to work on

Dead, new and old grass can be sun dried and turned into hebrew hay

So once the grass was pulled up from the foot paths. And let out to die and sun dry, I cut the grow bed cover in half and added more leaf, wood ash,

Now that the paths are clear and wider, along around this bed (row 2.0) , carts and people move freely

The layers decompose providing nutes, the layers keep weeds out but air and water in and heat escape thru the pinnacle of the grow bed where the trellis is.

So learning from a massive waste of beautiful fresh red cedar chips (4 truck loads) last spring I didn't put any underlay or kill / collect dead and fresh grass.

Everything happens for a reason. Our nieghbor who is teaching me permaculture found this beauty old growth (40 to 80 years posibly) downed in the forest next to the top of the garden access

This type of mulch / wood chips go for 30 for 20 liters at homedpot.

I laid 16 x 50 liter bins worth on the walking / working aisle. That is a pretty sweet savings for just basically a long full day of work and feels epic on the feet

I rarely use gloves and never wear shoes. Been getting th3 wickedest grounding, acupressure and often times acupunture from thorns / sharp objects. Good time

Super cool thread 🙌 I am also growing poppies and mapacho as well as mullein or "big tobacco" as the Natives called it. Your land looks great 👍 Nothing like being barefoot and grounding all day. Is your mapacho vareity from Peru?

Record keeping is key to every garden, so is signage.

It's been raining g the past couple days giving me q chance to sow more seeds Inside.

I've labeled alot already what's in the garden, now it's time to mark the rows / beds

Some shots of the Blueberry/Strawberry Peruvian Expression. The smoke is so sweet and the sweetness lingers in the back of the throat. Super smooth and soaring, inspirational, motivated, relaxed, mediative, and centering. Extremely spiritual and trippy, it inspires a strong desire to meditate. 🙏

Cool 😎

Top pics look alot like mine. 👍

A few old guys on my island have been telling me to ferment my flower. I think the universe is telling me something 🤔

I just realized I posted this here by accident. I meant to add it to your Peruvian thread 😅

You definitely should try fermenting at least a small amount 😉

After 4 days of light to heavy rain. I'm back at it.

With the "work/walk" access path 99% completed.

Time to finish the "cart access / u turn" path. Form and function must compliment eachother. You are better off growing less in less space then iver doing it and making your work life miserable.

The rain really brought out the worms. Scraped everything I could to build up the garlic bed and poppy / tobacco beds.

It's only 15 c in the shade but the garden in the sun feels like 30 c. Really have to make a big push before the shade Temps get to 20-30c
