Could have been from the stronger feed strength if the twisting is new. Mn seems excessive and could be causing an uptake issue, Id lower to half what it is now from 3 to 1.5.

Thanks guys! I'll keep the EC as is and change the Fe:Mn ratio to 2:1. I have sodium molybdate but forgot to add it =[ . What's a safe range ppm wise? 0.05-0.1? I'll see how everything goes with those changes and assess from there.

That was my first thought, thanks Slownickel. I figured they just forgot to write it in and settled towards an uptake issue.

For cannabis the range Im used to seeing is 0.04 - 0.06 ppm Mo with 0.05 being the typical.

Hey guys could i get a little help on how to respond to these signs ftom this plant, unkown genetics, 4 weeks into flower.

Indoor, 10 gal recycled peat base, led 18" canopy space.

The cupping is in the center of the plant on fan leaves. The cupped leaves have brown mottling on the leaf underside center vein.

Up top, the twisty action seemed to appear after a dose of humate with biological innoculant.

I surmised i might be copper deficient so i drenched with a 15ppm copper sulfate solution + fulvic and glycine. (4-2).

Otherwise the plant is packed with buds and leaf color is good. Environment is 45-60 rh and 62- 78 temps.

Anyone willing to double check my math/fertilizer amounts and discuss this base formula Im thinking about/mentioned on the last page?

NPK 4.5-1-4.5, 750ppm total:

N 180 ppm (12ppm from ammonium 6.67% of total N)
P 40 ppm
K 180 ppm
Ca 200 ppm
Mg 39 ppm
S 72.44 ppm
Si 32.5 ppm
B 0.5 ppm
Cu 0.05 ppm
Fe 2.2 ppm
Mn 1.6 ppm
Mo 0.05 ppm
Zn 0.7 ppm

Amounts of fertilizer (from items available at customhydro):

4 grams Yara calcium nitrate 15.5-0-0 19% Ca
164 ppm N
200 ppm Ca

0.55 grams magnesium nitrate 11-0-0 9.3% Mg
16 ppm Nitrate
14 ppm magnesium

0.67 grams mono potassium phosphate 0-52-34
40 ppm P
50 ppm K

0.83 gram Yara Ultrasol potassium sulfate 0-0-52 18% S
95 ppm K
39.44 ppm S

0.5 grams Agsil 16H Potassium Silicate
35 ppm K
32.5 ppm Si

1 gram Giles Magnesium Sulfate 9.5% Mg 12.5% S
25ppm mg
33 ppm S

Hey Ibechillin I'm trying out your ratios at the moment. Just switched to flower. Only thing that's different is the inputs I used, instead of Magnesium Nitrate I used Potassium Nitrate, don't have any Si, and my S is about 97. Micros are a little different but other than that really close! I'll let you know how it goes but after a couple feedings looking good! :)

Are these a sap analysis or leaf analysis? If they are a leaf analysis, how many different plants did you take leaves from?

These are leaf analysis. That week it was one plant in veg. Tops and bottoms.

Sometimes I do populations and sometimes I do individuals.

Honestly I’m not seeing as large a difference in tissue between bottles and my salt feed as I had expected. Some of these bottles are like 1:1:2.5. And the salts I’m feeding are like 1:0.6:1. Figured I’d see more K in tissue.

Biggest difference is more Ca and less si in tissue.

Noticed the bottled stuff is feeding 3-4x Mo vs my salts but in the tissue they’re the same.

CO lab? I see the same low k and mg

I guess you are happy with these plants?

I believe the Denver lab doesn’t test for nitrogen only nitrates.

Jidoka they end up having some K problems in flower on the salts. Still trying to get it dialed. I’m not happy with anything. My doctor said it’s a chemical imbalance.

I’ve never had more than 300 ppm mg in any leaves tested. Even if I’m feeding salts or Rx Green or New millennium. I’ve never found k above 0.3% in tissue across all my feeds either. It doesn’t make sense to me.

Very hard if not down right impossible to get enough Ca into rockwool.

Not sure you are actually testing the correct leaves either...

Cut open a stump. Slice it length wise all the way to the spot where the clone was originally cut. Post the pic.

Your Moms in rock wool too?
