Great pics and story, SM...:):smokey:

Very Inspiring for me...:smokeit:
I have a 'potential' paradise of my own...just have had neither $ or health to 'get it done'!
...but I'm managing to keep alive all the 'potential' participants in paradise...:dunno:
namely 7 fruit trees...Navel Orange, Lemon, Grapefruit, Mandarin, 2 Pears {differing types...for pollination} a sizeable Apricot and a decent Nectarine...low and spread out...
This year will be the ONLY year I get to eat fruit from the Nectarine, as the parrots and
red throated warblers eat them all, and with the heat in WA...46*C+ here...Had a
thermometer outside in the shade
yesterday, read 49*C!
..The heat
has them quite literally dropping dead
out of trees or in flight!:hide:...I have found
8 under my Apricot tree in 2 days.:tumbleweed:

And cats...:cathug:NO!...NO HUGS FOR KITTY!:booked:
Damn cats are devastating the wildlife here...

Sorry...rambling...blame the weed, not the rambler:prettyplease:

Love the lushness of your GarEden...In this hurried, mad world...it is so DIFFICULT to just sit...and relax...and observe...Are those flowers scented?..I find scent becoming important in my garden requirements these days....

Beautiful garden.
It really shows that you've taken great care creating it.

You should be proud.

that looks like some quality back yard time....great yard, love your flowers

Great shot with the magpies!! I've never seen those kinds of birds before but I have a backyard where it took YEARS of feeding the birds and slowly inching closer before I could get within 3 feet of them. It takes them a while to trust you.

But to have them sit in your lap like that? WOW. They probably feel you are one of them! You can hear the birds chirping to each other and they are not stupid at all. They have to get to know you....

very nice garden spot Moose, me I only feed the chickadee's that
come by my feeder, a few will come in and land on the feeder as
I'm standing next to and filling it up but none will land on me, yet.

nice garden Moose.

Well done with the magpies. These birds are absolute terrors during the nesting season. They dive bomb anything that goes near. Hope they're surviving the incredible heat here in OZ at the moment.
