Skotty, They are starting to look nice man! That bid devil is going to be nice when she is done. Wonder if those mi's are just going to be the baseball batt type pheno.

I think those rust spots are a cal def comming on/late development, my cloven pheno jems do that every time if i am not ontop of it.

Here is a little blurb from some stuff i have saved about hydro and cal def. I can show you pics of it directly if you want me too.

im not growing big devil , im growing il diavolo but i do have a big devil seed in my fridge

il diavolo = critical mass
big devil = fruity skunk

the big devil would make this plant look tiny

im not sure about the mi5 phenos but from looking at my plants 1 of them is a real bush and the other 2 are not as wide if this helps matters,

id like to know the difference between the mi5 phenos

as for the def on the devil it started wile she was in veg and noticed it when her ph dropped to 5.4, since then ive kept it between 5.6 and 5.9 ive flushed her rockwool cube and switched her to flowering nutes, with canna aqua flores , hammerhead and carbo load the weird thing is that she hasnt stopped growing so im just gonna ride with it and see if i get something off her

if you have anymore information on the mi5 phenos then would you care to tell me the differences

i can safely say that from the last time i grew out the mi5 they didnt get as big as these are and i pulled 1 oz off her , so im hoping for big things off these 3

4 weeks down 4 weeks to go

3 different strains all at different stages of growth, you couldnt do that with regular seeds, continous harvests

ok so i was browsing my local seed bank and happened to notice there free offers when you spend so much money,

anyways they are giving away an auto seed which is is called critical + from a well known seed producer, now this got me thinking im also growiing an il diavolo which believe it or not is also critcal +, now my point is that the plant in the pic of this seed company is exactly the same as the 1 i am growing in this diary

how can 2 different seed companys offer the same seeds which look identical and are both identical in shape and genetics just re packaged under a different name ??

i wouldnt mind but for 5 seeds it works out cheaper then what i paid

it makes me wonder how many other companies actually do this and has got me thinking if the big devil seeds are the same as this and are also labled as a fruity skunk

I must have known it was a il diavolo, once you corrected me my memory came back. I have been following since day one, since the setup is some thing i'm interested in myself.





EDIT: That pic there, any auto i've grown that grows varigated like that, usualy ends up beeing pretty large. One of the cloven males i have, went to the 9th node before it started to grow varigated nodes.

I haven't done a good enough run of mi5 to speak about it respectfully. Nice yeilding phenos, but i had a hard time finding a smoke i liked. They do well outside though, i will probably end up running most of my mi5's outside next year. Too do some exploring.

the il diavolo is still growing she now stands at 21" tall ill take a pic later with my tape measure and show you guys, she has just started to show the begingiing of her bud sites so im hoping she will slow down and concentarte on producing me some smoke

how could you not rate the mi5 smoke i thought she was 1 of the fruitest smokes ever,

every toke that i had gave me a different flavour and it was one of them smokes where you open and close ya mouth to try and describe the flavour ( if that makes sense lol )

i think it might of had something to do with canna boost in my honest opinion as that does enhance the flavour of your smoke, ill know for deffo on this grow cause i swapped the canna boost for carbo load

heres some pics of the she devil, she has not had an easy life but despite her sensitivity to nutes it just has'nt slowed her down,

i dont think i could do any more for this plant other than just feed her water as her ec is so low and my water background is .4 ec to strart with,

she is still reaching for the light and its within 3" of her top, she is 1 crazy bitch,

it does say seed to harvest in 8 weeks do you think she can produce me some hench buds in 4 weeks??

in comparison to my mi5's which are about 4-5 days behind the devil so there on about day 23

i really should invest in a decent camera as 3.2 mega pixels just aint cutting the mustard

bush pheno i think, ill be interested to see what she produces in the coming weeks

Well... alot of my mi5's were pure seeded bud, hard to really judge from that. I am running some of the F2's, nothing finished yet, sensi test soon however!

I was just lucky enough to get a super fruity pheno of snowryder before i grew mi5.. The pheno i liked of the mi5 was kind of earthy/hashy with a kind of piney hint in there. hard to describe.

Those Mi5 are looking top shelf mate. Starting to really fill out. I can't wait until you are in full bloom, should be some nice bud porn.

day 30 from seed

lets start with an update for the she devil

this bitch is reaching for the sky i think, havent got a clue when she is gonna top out or even if she will stop growing upwards

i can see all her potenial bud sites but i wanna see her producing me some schmoke

id be happy with 15 gram yield off this plant as that would cover the cost of the seeds and a bit of free smoke

she is on .6 ec with carbo load , hammerhead, and aqua flores

now on to my mi5's, well dont really know what to say about these i think they are just in the early transition period of the stretch before the bud production phase,

they are on .6 and .7 ec with a ph of 5.7 - 5.8 and just being fed aqua flores at the minute

looking back from my previous grow where i pulled an oz off just 1 mi5 i can safely say that all these plants are bigger at this stage of the grow, and that bush pheno is off the fuking radar

I have to say that although I alwayz want/love the big/tall plants...that bushy pheno is my choice< gonna produce nicely....like my sour60 bushy pheno did...244gm wet!!!!<in soil...So I guess it's safe to say that LST is a must to do on at least half my crop to see difference in yeild within the same strain......

ive only seen 2 mi5 phenos, the smaller 2 at the back ive grown out before so i know whats coming in regards to their growth , however the bush pheno is a new 1 on me and i have no idea what direction she is gonna take, i do think that things are gonna get pretty cramped in my tent in the coming weeks though

i keep getting mixed reviews about the s60 i really wanna grow them out but the female ratios aint the best, it does sound like you had some great suscsess with them so thats a positive.

as far as yield goes im pinning my hopes on maxi in my other thread to be the winner in this department, if she produces like i think she is gonna then it will be a good show

just a quickie on the she devil

she resides @ 30" tall and is well on the way to producing me some smoke, i would go as far to say that she does seem very sativa like in the way she has tripled in size and the shape of her leaves

day 29 mi5's

different nute setups going on in these tubs

2 buckets have got aqua flores , hammerhead and carboload

1 bucket has got aqua flores pk13/14 and carboload, the pk 13/14 is in lower dosage over a longer period as oppose to 1 week

the bush pheno has the pk 13/14 and ive only just started giving it to her yesterday so its to early to tell whats happening

the other 2 have been on the hammerhead mix for a week and have taken a nice green looking effect

im currently at 4 weeks from seed and im hoping for an 8 week seed to finish so it will be pk boosters for 2-3 weeks followed by over drive followed by a flush

it would be nice to pull 6 oz dry minimum from 4 plants grown in 8 weeks from seed to harvest

You ever used the Vita-Link Max nute line? just want to Big the stuff up for DWC. Makes for perfect growth, nice clean res & very stable, even at low EC's, i like the fact its made for British water too. Works Beautifully Well bro! I liked the Aqua too, but this stuff edges it for me. I've been playing with different Silicon based products too, i like the protective qualitys it brings to the table etc I'm running 'Budlink' this time.
How you liking the Carboload bro, i been thinking of running Budcandy on this run, but we'll see how the cash is. Carbs & Amino's are a good way to go imo....Peace
