First time I grow it; was brought to me this spring from the south of spain ( you don´t find it in the north).

The flower looks nice but no smell at all.

First day picking mushroms this year.

Mostly Chantarellus Cibarius and a single Boletus Edulis

Still a bit fresh up there ( around 700 m ASL) but nice.
The forest is really humid this year. We haven´t seen the summer yet really.
The flower is digitalis purpurea, very common around here.
They do medicines for the heart with that plant.

How do they taste? Ive never liked the taste of any shrooms.

Thinking of trying some sheepshead this fall. I could pick 100 lbs in minutes at work.

Chantarellus has a quite strong taste,you don´t need much salt to cook them.You can dry them as well and use them for sauces, meat stock...
Boletus is different; if you have tasted Shi-Take is somehow similar but has more taste, more or less.
