dudes, tonight I had the best burger EVER. like I had to change my pants after I ate it. I totally creamed myself.

I'm a chef at a restaurant and we get free meals. so me and my other chefs always make crazy shit to munch when we're baked.

today we had a burger (I cooked mine medium) with a sunny side up egg ontop of it! on a brioche roll with romaine lettuce and tobasco.

if you EVER have a chance, eat it. it makes it so juicy, so delicious. I'm going to have dreams about it tonight.

anyone else ever have any crazy burger burger experiences? if so please let me know so I can try them.

I make a killer burger! I like some heat, so among other things, I mix some chopped chipotles with adobo sauce into the beef. Sprinkle some cinnamon in there and you have a smoky, slightly sweet burger that your barbecue guests will rave about.

I also like a piece of roasted anaheim chile on top of my burger, along with carmelized onions, aged sharp white cheddar, and grilled mushrooms.

I don't know what it is about the hamburger, but I've had a lifelong boner for those things. Feel an actual affection when I drive by a Dairy Queen or other burger joint.

i went to a famous burger joint on the island of kauai called duane onos char burger i got a burger called the local boy: teriyaki burger with grilled pineapple cheddar cheese and onions best burger ever and there fries are awsome.

Yeah. I thought tar tar(spelling?) was just a raw form of anything. Like a steak(real steak) ground(but not like ground beef..chunkier) and served with whatever. It sounds good. I've had the egg on a burger deal and didn't like it too much. A burger with some bleu cheese has always been my favorite.

Here's a goodie that my son makes, he makes 2 thin patties, puts a slice of pepper jack cheese on one plus about 1 tablespoon of minced garlic. Then put the other pattie on top & seal them together along the edges. Make it the size of a sourdough french roll, you can make it like garlic bread which is great. A little of your fave sauces, tomatoes & sprouts & that's what we call a stuffed burger!

Yeah, the egg on a burger is a very traditional Australian dish. If you ever order a burger in australia it will come with a sunnyside egg on top. And beets. (which they call beetroot)

I also freaking love burgers. My favorite burger of all time was at a place called the Hard Rock Cafe. They are fancyish, andd extremely overpriced. So I got the most reasonable thing, a burger. It came with a giant beer battered onion ring on the burger, with some bacon and cheese. It was delightful. Just needed a fully cooked sunny side egg on top. NO MESSY YOLK.. ewww. Im not a fan of fries myself. But the onion ring on the burger was so perfect. Now im gonna dream about it for a while.

wow guys they all sound delicious...I'm about to leave for work but I dont know which one of yours I should try. I know we have some mutton at work so I may try a 'gyro burger' a burger with lamb meat on top with sweet peppers onions and cucumber sauce. I'll let you know what happens.

happy munchin!

some of the best burgers on the planet can be found in granny's kitchen. I don't know what is was about grandma's cookin' that made 'em so damn good. Grandma's hands down are the best.

Now there IS a little place in Alton Illinois called Fast Eddies... it's a close 2nd.

Backyard Burgers would be a good 3rd.

My best burger...

Caramelize some sweet onions til they’re nice & dark. Bout half way through cooking throw in some thin slices of red bell pepper. Next, stir in a few dashes of chipotle powder.

Next, slice open some ciabatta bread, butter both halves & make garlic bread.

Make 2 thin burger patties…one with a pocket…and put a scoop of onions/bell pepper in the pocket & top with a couple slices of smokey sharp cheddar cheese. Put the two burger halves together and seal the edges.

Grill the burger on the BBQ seasoning as you like.

Burger goes on the ciabatta garlic bread and garnish to suit yourself.

Cutting the whole thing in half helps with consumption.
