The plants are starting to veg nicely. They have been topped and are getting pretty bushy for just starting veg and under a 2 bulb 34w t8 :p I am not too sure what to expect from these. Hopefully they start short and bushy :ying:

View attachment 290898 I switched the nutes yesterday to Veg+bloom and am running. 9EC. Tomorrow they will be put under hid lighting.

Looking nice alpha :good: .. I enjoyed the TGA strains I ran (qrazy train, querkle, vortex) and still have a few others in the fridge. Look forward to seeing how these turn out for you including how the v+b works for you in hydro.. getting ready to purchase either a 6 or 12 site 5gal oxy pot ebb n flow system after Xmas including 2 new 600w lights systems to run along side the coco this winter :D

Thanks deoxy and GA.

Tga has some awesome strains, I've always wanted to try their conspiracy kush. I ran their agent orange last run and it was pretty good stuff! This tangilope is dna genetics though :) so far so good with the v+b, I have them at 1.0ec now and I transferred everything to the tent with the 1000w. I got some AWESOME air stones today called AIT spiders. THE best bubbles made from any airstones I've had. 100% water agitation. The ebb n grow systems are awesome, I'm running one in the flower tent now with 6 purple paralysis, I made a modified net pot lid so now I don't have to use a ton of hydroton and I can flood every hr and the roots have so much more room to grow and not be smothered by hydroton.

I'm doing well GA, hope you are as well! Glad I'm all moved and settled in my new place and have things up and running again. Haven't had any problems with my tap water killing clones and what not so that's exciting

Here's an update of 1 week veg of HID lighting. The tangilope are the bigger plants in the middle. Two weeks tops and I will be flowering. They are heavy feeders compared to everything else in the tent and taking 1.3ec nutes. I started them at .9ec and the leaves began to lighten so I gradually upped the dose until they looked normal. Extremely fast growth for this strain.

Started flower on Sunday. Plants grew faster than I thought they would and had to flower early since the canopy is filled in. lots of leaves on the tangilope, I've been plucking handfuls off over time and will continue until they aren't as thick. Do not want powder mildew. Ec is 1.3 and will be bumping it up to 1.4 tomorrow. Will flower these for 9 weeks. There are so many tops it's kind of incredible for the short veg time. I can't tell if I'm under feeding or if the leaves are naturally a lighter green. Update later after the stretch. tmp_12082-20141125_001226-432373456.jpg

1wk of flowering is over. Not much stretch, if at all, on the tangilope. It just keeps growing huge leaves so I've had keep on defoliation on all the massive leaves. Very strange growing pheno compared to others. It's grown maybe 2" this week compared to the other 3 strains growing 9" or more. Propped them up on buckets to keep an even canopy. Hopefully it stops growing leaves and starts doing some damn stretching. Other than its ridiculous leaf growth all is healthy.

thats the prettiest white rootball i have ever seen....my spot was always a lil too hot for DWC, but now i have LED and the room is much cooler...so i think i will get a row of DWC buckets going...DJXX

Thanks guys, the roots are massive, it swallowed the 9" airstones and it's stuck in there somewhere, can't get it out. Lol @noyd, I hear that man lol

Djxx, here's a quick tip for dwc, get some reflective insulation wrap from home Depot, it's like $10 a roll and can cover 4 buckets. Works GREAT keeping the water cool. I also freeze 20oz water bottles into ice and pop one in each bucket every couple of days. When it's 85 in the grow room it'll cool the water to 58 and slowly rise to 70 over a couple days. If the temps of the grow room are cooler than 85 it'll stay cool even longer bro. It's how I battle the temps and it's cheap and effective. Roots love cold water I'm starting to find out. That 68 degrees everyone recommends is fine but 60 is even better, at least that's what I'm finding out with some experiments

16 days into flower and the tangilope are just starting to get a few pistils. Later bloomer. Very little stretch, but maybe it will happen later on? They were lollipopped and pruned pretty good since the plant is too thick to grow with out training. The next couple weeks will show more on how it flowers. It started showing signs of pistils more than a week later than the others. Lots and lots of tops and nodes. tmp_13280-20141208_1201451396915360.jpg

Day 27 update. I'm not sure what to think about these. I don't know if I have them dialed in anywhere near where they should be. They kind of have been going down hill since flower and finally have little buds forming. I don't know if I have a dud since it was a mutant seedling or if I just screwed them up or if this pheno takes a really long time to initiate flower and finish flower. I changed my light schedule to 11/13 today to see if that will help. The roots are no longer as white as they were, more of a tanish yellow brown, but not slimey or mushy. Maybe that has something to do with its problems. I pruned the roots off the air stone recently because it suffocating the air stone bubbles. I hope it doesn't hermie but so far no signs. It has really thick pistils as well. I'll have to run it one more time to see of its user error causing such a delay or if it just isn't a keeper. tmp_3328-20141219_183035-511419405.jpg

Figured I'd update this shit show. The tangilope are just not budding properly. Being it was a mutant I'm not really surprised. I have noticed that my ppm keeps going up and pH dropping. So my only theory I can think of is they've been nute toxic for a while. They show no signs of tox or deficiency, but something is funky about it. Today I lowered the ppm to less than .9 ec and am hoping they can get over this hump. They are 32 days into flower and the Buds are so tiny (possibly N tox). It could just be a crap mutant pheno, I'm not sure. What I do know is that they look OK so I'm stumped. I will let them live but honestly not expecting anything impressive at all. I'm a little disappointed that I can't pinpoint and give the problem a name as right now everything is a question. If anyone has any insight I'd love some help with what's going on with these.

Well, this mutant has started growing buds from the fan leaves. I've seen and heard about this before but to figure the mutant tangilope does it. Not sure what's gonna happen next but I'm sure it will be interesting haha. The Buds are still tiny. The Buds look really wierd, kind of like a scoop of ice cream. It smells great as well and has quite a bit of frost. Not a keeper. All clones have been destroyed but I will let these finish if they can. tmp_3609-20150102_195923-1301166469.jpg

Today is 7 full weeks of 12/12 so I figured I'd update. Another mutation has been discovered. We will call it "leaf boners". Buds are actually forming now with the most oily resin I've seen in a very long time. When I touch the bud it's not really sticky per say, but more of the feeling of grease, not sticky at all, it's wet and slick. And there is a boat load of it. It will make some stellar concentrates that's for sure. I'm disappointed with the bud production being so slow but I know this will be one of the more potent strains I've grown. Here's a pic of the leaf boner mutation and some bud shots.*

On another note, I find my self a little disappointed that I culled the clones I had of this plant. I feel that with a 16 wk flower time the yield would be very good and could possibly top 30% thc. I've honestly never felt such oily trichs on a plant that wasn't sticky, I'm very intrigued now*
