Beautiful Morning for a walk with the doggo. 57 degrees. Birds are so loud this morning. I have a day off which is so weird to me I'm not sure wtf I'm going to do. So far I've gone for a walk and sat in a lawn chair haha yeehaw
My farm is 43 acres it’s overgrown down to about four that’s cleared

Yeah, beautiful morning, beautiful week ahead. I’m going to be transplanting. Everything here is looking nice.
Lucky for you I have enough responsibilities that you don't have to worry about squatters (at least this particular squatter).
The only squatters I got is wildlife
I have goats they eat trees not my grass. We have a browse line on all our trees. If I penned them in they would have no choice, but their gate is open. Just have to remember to close the garden gate, or I won't have a garden anymore

I have been putting this off, because I did not want the 70 Black Walnuts harvested. Most were 2' thick or more. One of the largest ones is the one I wanted to find the stump of. Now I wish i would have walked down there a few years ago when they cut it so I could count the rings.
Oh well, I found it, under a bunch of Weeds. It was about 3' thick. It's funny, it was hollow so I get the last laugh. And the hole in the stump is too cool. We still have hundreds of Black Walnut trees, but I cried as I sat here hearing those 70 fall. My wife owns the land, and oh well. The wildlife loves the mess they left behind. I'm guessing this one was more than 150 years old.

I always loved working with walnut among other high end woods. Walnut was always my favorite though for looks it is just so rich looking IMO.
It’s highly sought after for veneer, I think
