I named it in honor of this group from Michigan, and because the effect of it can be described as "inside out":
bluebirds are fearless! had them nesting in my yard where i used to live. the dang male would watch me mowing, and flew down many times to grab a bug right in front of the mower! i had to slam on the brakes to keep from running over him...Funny thing is these bluebirds must be totally used to Sam by now
