We were brought into that war by powers that are much longer conversation than posting here. But the premise and reasoning was against socialism and communism. Neither ideologies are a good basis for any government. I enjoy my 1st amendment which no other country has. I enjoy my 2nd amendment which most countries don't have. I think the federal government is too large and the reason for states to run themselves. as obviously, the nation has different ideologies which is why each state had their own constitution to help people in their area. Why is that wrong?
