Wow we had a warm spell here in Maine over the weekend. I walked into the Flower Room and the temp was at 90F. I had to run the AC. The plants seem fine. The CO2 probably helped?:)

Well I'm having trouble adjusting the automatic fertigation system. All of my timers are in 1/2 hour increments and inaccurate. I went into the grow room to find the entire feed tank had been run through the plants. They're fine but I had to mix another 25ish gallons of feed up. :cry:

I set the automatic feed system up with a 400 gal. per hr. Active Aqua pump and 1/2" vinyl tubing. The pump is in the bottom of a 30 gal. feed tank which holds around 25 gal. once you account for the height of the float valve. I ran a tube up from the pump to an elbow into which I drilled about a 1/32" hole at an angle pointing down into the tank. This hole is my siphon break and also lets me use the system as a mixing pump. The tube runs to a valve and then to a manifold which is also valved. I have an accurate timer coming. :)

I received the timer I ordered. It's a Zettaguard smart outlet. You can program it down to the second with it's free cloud based app HomeMate. It was less than $9 on Amazon. I ran it through one cycle. So far so good. It's also small enough that it doesn't block the second receptacle on the outlet.

The irrigation system's working well. I've also changed the work lights over to green bulbs in case I need to work during lights out. :)

I managed to pump half the res through the plants. I accidentally triggered the app that runs my smart plug. Other than that things are peachy. :)

Look'n great in there!! :tiphat:

And, Wow! I cannot believe I've not thought of these SmartPlugs for the garden! I use like a half-dozen around the house for various lights and things, with Alexa. I've now put one with my Veg E&F table set for every four hours. Works sooo much better than the Timex ones I had been using for that pump. :dance013: Thanx for that!

Hi BuzzBob, just make sure you don't talk to Alexa in your sleep. :biggrin:

A couple of questions;

1. How often should I be cleaning out my nute res? It's getting a bit slimy.

2. My buds are sticky but I don't see trichomes. How late in the process can they show up?

So I have some foxtailing. I think it was caused by the 1000W DE lights. They are 28"-32" from the canopy but I have some fading and tacoing at the tops. I've reduced the intensity to 750W.:chin:
