well that is good news i hope when the time comes everything will go very well for yourself and snypette, seeing my own parents with my nephews it really did re-energize them and hopefully this is the light at the end of the very dark tunnel your father is going through, it also might give him the incentive to get medical help if he does have cancer.

yes where i come from communication between family is at the bottom of the list to, it can be very hard to find the love or even know how a person is feeling but thats just the norm here i have just learned to except it and know they do love me.

Thanks everyone for the support and kind words. Also for all the advice for my outdoor. Multiple PM's from in the area with advice and it was much appreciated.

So let me get this straight.

You have 40K plus. But no hot shower.

So you decide to waste all the money gambling... but still not have a shower?

Please PLEASE tell me im not the only one scratching my head over this outrageous bullshit...

you don't have a water heater but you have 40k to give to a casino? LOL

I'm all for play and shit but wouldn't you want to make work easier?

Priorities?

This shit seems far fetched and definitely NOT good vibin'

ha ha man you should write a book about your life seems crazy as hell.

for a gambler the fun is in chasing the win rather then winning all the time, where is the fun in that. ;) 280k in one night fuccccck man hows that possible:) was it fun? the savvy ladie like my girl has her head screwed on. im like you id stick it all on the line only for my gf to take it back off the tables lol

with solar im sure a man of your hydro experience its just a matter of solar panels, pipes, thermostats and a tank. i dont know much about it either but i did work on hydraulics in work. i have seen them in action even on a cloudy day the water is ready for a shower and im sure you could easily transport it if needed.

people live their life's differently have different priority each person is an individual let them do what they want. if snype wants to have no shower then going balling to a casino that i say go for it :)

The only real thing I can relate to in this thread is the solar knowledge. The rest is pure entertainment. The real issue with converting to solar is not so much the initial costs in the panels and hardware. It comes from the batteries that you need for energy storage. The real reason solar energy has not been perfected yet is the tech for energy storage just isn't there yet. Even top of the line batteries have to be serviced frequently and replaced every other year or so ( ~$7k for a 10-20k system). But the nice thing is to tell the electric company that you will just be needing emergency service from now on. If you remove your service completely, it raises caution and they bill you for just the connection physically being there and it will cost you a fee to have it turned on again. The emergency service only is lower than the fee itself for having no service plus it will be there in case you need it. Makes no sense.

i knew an ol sheep herder once. ran black irrigation tubing up and down a south facing hill, then to his outdoor shower and sheep camp. water was pretty hot. the amount of tubing determines your hot water tank size! more tubing, more hot water. i'll be damned if it didn't work in the winter too! bet you have a couple pumps laying round that would do the trick...happy bathing! snypette deserves it!

Me and Snype worked really hard to have what we do. We have made intense sacrifices throughout the years that most people would consider crazy. We have worked our asses off and guess what? You best believe I am proud as fuck. I'll spend my money however I damn please :) If I want to light it on fire, that is my MO. Something to be said about someone who is bothered by someone else doing well in life. Snype is just happy. Go snype!

and he does have hot water, just only 5 gallons. LOL. So back to those sacrifices... getting a new one means having someone up in in house. We are all set w/ that.
