Hi All,

We are now stocking Serious Seeds female seeds. Serious Seeds have been working on making female seeds for the last few years. The reason why it has taken so long to release them is because he has been testing and making sure they are the same as his regular seeds. Serious Seeds are one of the few seed companies left who would make sure the genetics are perfect before releasing his female strains. We have the following female seeds in stock to order from 4th of Jan.

Serious Seeds female seeds will come in packs of 6 hemp seeds.

from a uk wholesaler so its defo correct, i would imagine sb will be getting stock, rrp of £60-70 for a 6 pack.

I have been running Serious AK and WR femmed seeds for the last few months. These were test seeds given by Simon to a buddy of mine. The WR is amazing. Lots of vigor, very sticky resiny buds. Was the first in my garden to sex and start flower production. A very easy plant to grow. Perfect for beginners and med patients IMO.

Not sure on the AK yet. I may have a bad pheno. Irregular growth for the most part. Should be finished in about 5 weeks from now. I guess well see.

Oh no. This is what I did not want to see. I thought Simon was against it, but I guess not. First the degradation of there original lines, and now, femmed beans. Serious is/was my favorite seed bank. Now, I'm not so sure.

I still find the value in male and female seeds. If that is short sighted, then so be it.
Recent reports of problems with strains from Serious, is sad, no matter how you look at it.

Personally I find it a great move on Serious Seeds' part. Offering feminized varieties is a way to get more product to people. I do agree with you when you say you find the value of male and female seeds, but there are alot of people who could really care less about males and only want female seed because they themselves don't necessarily have the time or maybe the patience to tend and grow unknowns when guaranteed females assure you of atleast some bud. I do, so I can stand on either side of the debate. Ultimately, when you are a seed company like Serious Seeds and your reputation is for being one of the little guys with infinite potential, stable breeding stock, and a good foothold in the industry already; you tend to take things slow and gradually walk into large markets like feminized seeds. This actually gives them the upper hand in the market as there reputation is solidified as being a high quality cannabis genetics provider with excellent quality control. Simon almost had to adapt to the growing trend, but atleast he's doing it under his own terms!!! All the respect in the world is reserved for the Serious Crew in my book...

I would never buy them personaly but for the med patient that does not have the time, setup, or physical ability to easily grow I think they are great. I have no issue with fems in general. Just would not ever use them for breeding.

Simon is a True Breeder in my eyes. I like the idea of dialing in 5 strains and providing quality with each offering. This cannot be done with 15-20 different strains, unless you've been doing it a while. Few can deliver consistent quality like Serious does. I prefer regular seeds, just my opinion.

As you know Simon like to keep is method secret.

Yes I have tested the Serious 6 and it is a really nice sativa that taste and smell like citronella.

8 weeks indoor and finnish mid september, a really short flowering sativa70/30.

I dont blame him for doing fems tbh, someone said recently that fems account for 95% of sales, if that happens in your industry you adapt or die.

Bored to have only it from the 95-010 R&D... the Serious 6 will be only a feminized line, so no interrest for me. Tsss, market things.
