I was never scared by the conventional monsters n such. But Jack Nicholson as Jack Torrance in The Shinning was the only movie character to scare the shit outta me, mostly because the whole cabin fever thing can actually happen

edit: attack of the killer tomatoes scared the shit out of me when I was a little kid.. I recently watched attack of the killer tomatoes and almost died of laughter. It's got the be one of the lowest budget films of all time

Jason had Crystal Lake. Mike had Haddonfield. Freddy had your dreams, but as we got older, the novelty wore thin. The world is 3/4ths water and you have to respect nature, not some pizza face dude just talkin' sh*t LOL

If Meyers has his John Carpenter theme that propels his rankings even higher, then Bruce deserves honorable mention based on what those few notes of that menacing song does to everyone! LOL

Sorry, I am currently watching SHARK WEEK, and that sh*t is scaring me more than any movie I watched as a kid

i met the guy who played jason back on vacation around 1990 he gave me a mask and a mini-chainsaw that were both autographed it was awsome i wish i still had them today but i lost them somewhere along the way...

the new friday the 13th that came out earlier this year was AWSOME i loved it big fan of chainsaws hahaha

on a side note: the original texas chainsaw massacre was awsome but by the time it hit #5 it just went full on porno...

ahhh 2nd edit leprechaun in the hood wasnt scary but ice-t in a lep movie was priceless its one of my all time favorites leprechaun deserves to be on this list!
