so did you cut the popcorn junk from the bottom yet like the dog suggested?it will up ur yield bro.at this point in flower it wont slow them down for more then a few days so i would do it if i was you...assumin you havnt already...ffa lookin good bruh,i hope you cloned her...see when ur gonna flip, cut off all the popcorn and use it for clones yo.it makes the plant concentrate on all the good stuff up top and not waste and energy on the lower popcorn stuff that wonr even produce nothin and sux to even trim...

i use beastie and cha ching bro,i use it like it says on the container till like 2 weeks before chop an then start the flush yo.i like to keep it as organoc as possible too.when i 1st started using it i though it was but then i read other wise.works for me so i use it yo.
good vibes...lets see some pics yo.

I will clone the remainders for sure, as I have had some indication that they would be useful, so I left some.
I'll go back with my bucket, clone gel and shears... but can I ask what is the BEST method in your opinions;as to how you guys prefer cloning? (bubble cloning aside)

Like, for example... I know to cut the clones at a 40 degree angle, supposedly under water is best to reduce shock?

clean swab of clone-gel smeared all over the cut?
I was told to split the cut in 4 and I was also told to split it a bunch of times, to give the bottom a wispy appearance, also making it much easier for a root system to grow out..

How do you clone?

Lookin good PG. Cloning is easy. Moisture, warmth and medium intensity light are all you need. There are various mediums to use and slightly different setups but all the same game.

One of the easiest ways to clone is with peat pucks and a humidity dome. Pre-moisten (not wet) the peat puck and insert cutting. Mist the dome with a sprayer. Put the dome under medium light, in a place that averages 78 to 80 degrees f. Keep the dome misted and you may not have to re-moisten the medium until roots form. You'll see roots in an average of ten days imo. Misting the cuttings doesn't help from my experience, just makes em fall over.

The trick is to keep the medium damp, not wet. The dome helps keep the medium from drying out as well as providing a humid environment for the temporary rootless cutting(s). Over watering will not speed up root development and may rot the stem.

Take note how long your setup will stay "damp" under your conditions. Once you dial things in, you'll have low maintenance, rooted clones on demand.

Alright. To start, I learned a valuable lesson today and got more in touch with the plants!

Heat Stress: Won

Nute lock out: Fought and won

Over watering: Won

PH Issue: Won

New environment adjustment: Stable, got passed that issue too

Added a fan hitting the light directly, pushing the hotair in, down behind the plants, while the ocillating fan blows the air toward the plants, (by this time the air is cool or slightly warm) and out the growlab.

Ceiling fan also mixes fresh air outside with two windows available.

I tested my arm on different areas to make sure heating was not an issue.

Plants stable... it took me all day...:wallbash:

lookin good bro,i clone with a easy cloner so thats what works for me best yo,its all the same you can just pour some cloning gel in a shot glass and then dip the cut in there...i sometimes butterfly the bottoms it gets mad roots, also you can just kinda scuff the clone....like take the razor or scizzors and scrape the bottom of the cutting and then 45 cut it and dip it into gel, place into rokwoll or ur cloner and ur good.if you use rokwool get a dome for a few days then lift it with something like a inch to try to start getting them to harden off...if the get limp pu the dome back down...
i told ya that FFA was somethin special bro...and dont have the fan blasting them directly on them or the buds wont get hard yo they'll be fluffy.just hav it blowin like a few inces atleast above them...peace-T-

@Ton
Got the fan about 1 to 1 and a half feet away, they seem fluffy to mee and are growing what I'd like to call Bulbous Calyxes and trich production is insane...

I got some clones going, but I cannot take care of them, it's not for me to say or complicate things with such dramas, but I have a friend who is a prominent grower that will take what clones I have and make mothers out of them, giving me one or two to flower later on and some clones of my own to mother.

I wish we had some seeds of this baby, so we can find other phenotypes!

I would not mind one with more OGish smell, but this will do, I can NOT be picky with such a fine strain...:abduct:

I'm trying, over here, bruthuh!

yup bro that ffa gets really fat calyxes just loaded with resin, thats why in the begining of this thread i was sayin to dry it slowly so they wont get too brittle and want to turn into shake in ur jar or bag...is the fan above them?i try to have my fan blowing like a foot above the plants and just wispin over the top of the canopy, not directly blasting them,i had to learn the hard way with airy buds, thats what i wanna save you from getting.
just give it time that og smell will come out and the taste will too.i mean she is gonna be a bad ass bro, just make sure you let her do her thing till like day 70-75 and you will be a real happy kat...
and as far as the cloning thing, just keep at it bro, practie makes perfect.check out jj scorpios thread about cloning.peace-T-

Tonatiuh, bro... this is for you!

FFA Macro for ya..
picture.php

I can take WAY better shots. I got thousands of bud shots on my HD, stripped down PC that I plan to rebuild soon, after the windows 7 confusion blows over. :drum:

Anyway... this is free hand, manual macro. no automatic bs. I'm going to take dual flash, tripod, extender+tubed macro shots of my herbs SURFACE once she us cured to smoke with a report and shots that span from macro to full nug shot.

Enjoy!

Hehe. Will have to do that with you sometime soon.

I placed the fans in a way where the cold/hot air is being circulated around the plants. (ghetto air-wall) But it is working!

I feel the heat with my hands, where the tops are... very satisfied!

75F
55% humidity

Thanks for telling me about direct air on the buds, man, I appreciate it!

Roots are getting plenty of air!

Also, I want to take some time out to emphasize root structure in my next grow.

I am going to seek out Deep Chunk, Best OG cut I can find and best Chemdawg(Dog) I can find, and I want to use airpots w/ coco or organic medium.

The smell here is great, btw... I can hardly wait till your advice takes fruition, so I can have dense buds with actual SUBSTANCE and not illusionary dense bud where massive amounts of pistils cover the airy parts of such herb.

I wish I could smoke with you and discuss this more, as you come off as a good friend with much to learn from.:respect:

Yellowing from yesterday... after all my hard work, the yellowing subsided and green begins to make it's way back, as it was quite the adventure for us all (the plants and myself)

At first I was under the impression that the plants were maturing early:noway:
I made my Tea too powerful... so I had to flush... the light were too hot.. so I had to purchase a fan to directly hit the light, while repositioning the ocillating fan to shoot air around, then out of the growlab.

I over watered when flushing, but I got flushing down as well... I was bottom-root feeding as I heard suggested on IC, within one of these threads. :nono:
I will switch to watering till I see water START to fill into the dish... before I moved, they drank everything in the dish, now they don't drink as much??

I learned to dial things in yesterday
I learned how to flush
Learned the "tip the bucket" method for checking if I need water
I also learned how to manipulate air circulation
I learned about oxygen to roots
I learned about H202 given when overwatering, helps roots get back some oxygen, aiding in the healing process, after OW B.S.

When I first got into this I was like; "I'm going to grow some good herb!"
With the only intensions of watering and using 1-2 basic ferts...
IC mag has turned me into a scientist, with 2 big supply-boxes of nutes and equips for almost any occasion, I am only missing a PH tester, which I think I need now, since I am growing in a new area.. so the water needs to actually be tested now. :/
As I think the old area had perfect water off the tap (no PH adjustments needed)

Update. I got Root Worms, now. :-D

I am happy because I think I caught it early. I am working on finding some beneficial Nematodes in my area to deal with the little mother fuckers.

As an extra precaution, I dumped tons of perlite on my top soil and worked it in the moist soil as well as a pure white layer on top, keeping the soil dry and hopefully unattractive to the little flies that like fucking laying eggs.

Excuse me, but I am a little angry after yesterday... now I gotta possibly order something that won't be here till monday, instead of going out and buying the darn thing... (hard to find in my area)

I'll update when these little bastards are taken care of.

i know peeps with bomb ass C cuts and i have some beans with the chemdog in there that i havnt popped yet, prolly bust them out here soon,i have some plans :D
.....search the boards for the root worm problems, there may be a home remody for them idk
i have no experience with them at all...one thought though, make sure its not the larvea of some other pest that way ur not hittin them with unnecessary bs ya know?....
just a thought...
peace -T-

Weed-yeah, man! (I don't like saying 'hell')

I ordered them Nematodes, already. I talked to a nice gentleman on the phone who walked me through the process before the stuff even gets here!

He said the Nematodes he's sending me are dormant in cold and don't take too well in hot temps.

Said to store them in the fridge to keep them dormant when not in use, etc.
I feel better, though! Good thing I am nosey about the plants, or I'd be without anything right now.

I want to think you have not had to deal with such pests because your op's are so well done, bro.

Me being a noob, this OP I roll with is not as efficient, so I'm the one who will see this problem, instead of you, hehe. (not saying it cannot happen to you)
But I want to say this can happen when a mistake is overlooked (such as leaving the top soil moist for too long)

That was my mistake, however I once again corrected it... time to wait on time.

I suggest, like others I have seen before me... keep lots of perlite on your topsoil, the powdery kind, it'll keep them for going for it and laying eggs.

I saw the flies under the soil too, so I don't know... I am hoping it works.

Edit: I am going out to buy this right now!
"Diatomaceous Earth"
Source:http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=70408&highlight=root+worms

I will use this as a preventative measure, for any future invasions..!

Organic all the way, bro. I could easily take this on with chemical B.S, but let's face..:noway::YaRight::nono::frown::bashhead:

Edit: I have decided not to buy the D.E as it would be a waste of money. However, next time I will have D.E in place as a defensive measure.

Here is the info that helped me find my total solution to my problem:
http://gardening.yardener.com/YardenersToolshedofProducts/PestInsectControlProducts/BeneficialInsectProductstoControlBadGuys/PredatoryNematodeProducts/TipsonUsingPredatoryNematodes/HowToUsePredatoryNematodes

All I have to do now is wait on the Nematodes. :)

I got tired of the bullshit. I redid my grow room and now....
WE DOIN IT VERTTTTTTTTTTT-icle, Motha fuckas! j/k!

I'm pretty excited about lower humidity plus a steady 80F with the tent closed!

Hey Paranoid , cool thread . Some really great pics you got too . And damn man , your 1st grow ! . Setting the standards high with those genetics . Good luck !

Thanks, bro! +Rep for everyone who has not gotten any from me, yet!

You have remarkable looking plants and hopefully, I can cull these babies with comparable Trich. coverage.
