Outdoor cultivation of sativa-dominant hybrids and pure sativas.
Latitude of about 38.5°N, and altitude of about 800 meters (2630 feet), in the northernmost valley of the northern slope of the "old" or Iberian or European Sierra Morena, to differentiate it from the American Sierras Morenas of Mexico or Argentina.
As a cultural curiosity, let me tell you that although my Sierra Morena is the European one, it is the one referred to in the original lyrics of the world-famous Mexican song "Cielito Lindo" (and which practically functions as the unofficial Mexican anthem): In 1882, the Mexican musician Quirino Mendoza y Cortés adapted/changed the original music (with Andalusian or Manchegan Seguidilla style, or Manchegan or Andalusian Fandango style) to the Mexican mariachi/ranchera song, to pay tribute to his wife, who, coinciding with the song, also had black eyes and a mole next to her mouth, and whom the author also met and fell in love with her, in Sierra Morena, although this time in the Mexican Sierra Morena (Chiapas), also called the Mayan Sierra Morena.
Of course, the original music was more similar to this...(warning that last one may make your hair stand on end...)
